The classical decor of the hotel & room and plush bathroom. The fact that there was free wi fi in all areas of the hotel.

The parking was very difficult to find even though the hotel supplied us with a map as it turns out the roads was closed so we had to go around the block few times to find it., and it was quite a walk to and from the hotel especially leaving with hand luggage ( we didn’t want to risk going back to the hotel to collect our bags as we might not find our way back)

found the hotel central effecient clean and good value for money check in/out flawlessmeal lovely concierge very helpful and as we booked in early our bag was in our room when we arrived back from shopping

over aggressive securityman. our child has been sick for eight weeks. as a result we have been confined to the house day and night until she recovered. the week end break was a spur of the moment idea to unwind. my wife understandibly was tired but as we were enjoying the music in the bar and it being our 1st night in so long she preferred to let me stay up and tended to nod off. while i appreciate the staff's need to not have people sleeping in the bar i do not appreciate this man's attitude and approach. i am 54 yrs old and to now have not been treated and more especially cant tolerate my wife being treatwd in this manner.i tried to complain at the desk and repeated requests for his name only led to the security man comeing up and threatening me. check your cctv i am sure it's there. so overall most disturbing

          Location is excellent.

Bar staff were very unfriendly. When we asked for residents facilities, we were treated like criminals.

A most enjoyable stay there, made more pleasant by the efficiency and helpful attitude of all the staff.

The location is great for shopping and the bar meals were good in the middle of the day. Being able to leave our luggage at the hotel was useful as we arrived on an early morning flight and didn't fly out until 7p.m. The rooms were comfortable. If our stay had been longer, we would have tried some of the spa treatments.

The hot breakfast used to be waiter served and I did not like the buffet as I am quite short and could not reach items at the back of the heated cabinet.

The only thing that we found unsatisfactory was the fact that the room wasn't cleaned over the two days we were there even though we had asked the staff.

The receptionist I came into contact with on my arrival was very friendly and relaxed. We actually had a good natter and laugh.

We were at a bar in town until about 1.30am on a bank holiday sunday night, but when we got back to the hotel, there was no residence bar open.

Friendly staff; great beds; good showers

No guest safes in room; cleaning on this trip was not 100% (although I did stay in the room until midday so perhaps I didn't get the usual good crew)

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent for visiting Cork city and shopping.

Parking facilities! The private car park is handy but is not very convenient to the hotel, specially if it is raining or you have lots of bags. If you have a lot of luggage it means walking to the parking garage then driving back again to the hotel to pick up the bags.

High class, descrete service and stunning breakfast

For such a hotel the wireless internetconnection was really unacceptably slow and even sometimes failing. This is really not acceptable for a hotel in this class and for businesspeople. Just consider installing cable and provide evrybody with a cable for his/her laptop
