Getting there.

If you arrive at the Gran Canaria Airport, you can easily get to the hotel by taxi or by car, just take the GC-1 highway, then exit 43, enter Maspalomas and follow towards Playa del Ingles.

Getting around.

The IFA Catarina Hotel is situated close to the bus station, 1km from the city centre and about 30km from the Gran Canaria Airport. In addition, the property comprises the private parking for guests with cars.

  Food and rooms great holiday, great hotel, also a lovely pool and large garden.

  Staff did not speak much English and beds were uncomfortable.

  Great location at the heart of the tourist area, clean, tidy hotel and pool were all very good as was the cleanliness and service. Our rooms were big clean and the Grand Italian restaurant was amazing.

  Excellent location and brilliant Hotel. Friendly and helpful reception, big, comfortable rooms. The pool was very nice and the pool side bar was wonderful, restaurant had a good selection of foods each evening.

  The pool area was clean and the garden area kept to a high standard, the hotel staff were all brilliant, friendly and helpful, service was really great. Room was tidy and cleaned everyday, i am too a vegetarian and found the food good.

  The view was onto the garden below was pleasant, the food quality has improved alot and really was quite tasty, the staff were very friendly and we had no problems at all. The rooms were good and clean, the evening buffet was quite amazing and the service tremendously kind.

  Rooms ok, and cleanliness very good everywhere on the premises, excellent hotel, the front desk staff is very informative especially gentleman named Oscar. The bedrooms are very large and the poolside meals available all day are lovely. For dinner, eat by the pool, food is great and cheap, the gardens are well established and absolutely beautiful to look out on to.

  Our room was spacious, clean, quiet and had a gorgeous view of the garden, the dunes and the sea, this hotel at Christmas / New Year was great value. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was as good as any of type of accomodation we have stayed in.

  Great location for local bars and only 6 euros in a taxi to the 'Irish centre, nice hotel relaxing, female staff could be alot more charming. The rooms are spacious, well cleaned every day and the breakfast is amazing. Totally fine and safe for an after dinner walk also, yes the pool is excellent.

  Clean outside areas and waiting staff very nice, great relaxing stay. Good and friendly service, spacious rooms. Happy hour at the poolside bar each evening and lunchtime, food good, varied. The pools and gardens really are gorgeous.

  Excellent hotel even better staff and airy and the maid service is very good. The dining room is very, very warm and the breakfast buffet is top notch as well.

  The area is not particularly beautiful, waiters are a bit slow.
