Everything was excellent, amazing service, stunning location adjacent to the center of historic Borgarfjördur area as well as the bridge where Ben Stiller filmed part of The life and times of Walter Mitty, amazing cinnamon buns and lattes. Comfy bed, well furnished room with an electric kettle, central heating, and an electronic key card. Lots of options, outstanding food. Very relaxing experience there.

We didn't have time, so we will be returning here soon. Came in Borgarnes to relax and have fun, this golf hotel was comfortable base for doing it. Its location in Borgarnes was exceptionally nice, very close to the bridge where Ben Stiller filmed part of The life and the in house restaurant.

I had a wonderful and comfortable night at a hotel close to Borgarnes. The hotel's attention to detail impressed me, especially the option for a wake-up call in case of clear skies for Northern Lights viewing. The jaccuzzi and sauna with mountain views were simply amazing. The staff, both at the hotel and the restaurant, were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast selection was extensive, although the hot chocolate was a bit too sweet for my taste. I would highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, value for money, and peaceful location outside of Borgarnes.

Breakfast cost too much for what you get. Nothing warm in the selection and as the room was already very expensive I would have expected complimentary breakfast. Low value for money! Staff not very attentive and did not make you feel very at home.
