Iberotel Luxor - 樂蜀

Situated right on the Nile it is a great location for seeing the sights of Luxor e.

The location is the only good thing about this hotel, put simply it is awful, located on a main roundabout we were glad to be informed when we checked in that we had "a very good room".

The View from the room across the Nile was magnificent, the hotel's location was ideal and all the staff were friendly and attentive.

Taxi from the airport or use A2B transfers and around?

Ask a taxi driver to take you there as they love having visitors and would really appreciate any left over toiletries or clothes etc.

The best thing is abt this hotel is, it is newly renovated, it has clean bed, bathroom,clean facilities, a cozy room that is worth the money (compared to other 4-5star hotels).

We found the bed to be quite comfortable and all the ammenities needed in a hotel room such as a safe, TV, hairdryer and fridge.

The rooms were large - we booked a standard room but in addtion to the main bedroom we also had a completely separate lounge and the little surprises left for us by our cleaner every day made a nice touch (towel sculptures and flowers).

Our room had a double bed and one single, a television, wardrobe, dressing table and mirror and small balcony area.

Loved the different towel sculptures left on the bed by the nice man in housekeeping and the breakfast provided in the morning was excellent.

With 3 restaurants on site, the main hotel restaurant, the italian and the chinese it is possible to eat all meals on site, very reasonably priced.

The dining room is modest and pleasant - good breakfasts- the terrace is a lovely place to sit in the evening and the bar is cosy but not too small, with very pleasant staff.

We tried the buffet restaurant, Italian & Chinese which weren't bad but being hotel restaurants they were more expensive than if you eat outside.

Anyway the views of the Nile and the Theban Hills from the pool, restaurant and bar are absolutely stunning, especially when the sun is setting!

The room had a stunning view of the Nile as did the bar, the terrace, the restaurant, the cafe, the Italian, the chinese!

I think my one complaint about the hotel was the front desk - deplorable service - the staff didn't seem too keen on helping us with our questions regarding where to eat, stuff to do etc.

The staff fell over themselves to make your stay comfortable with waiter service at the pool and even someone to place your towels for you.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, right from the porters, cleaners and ground staff through to the waiters, bar staff, reception and management.

Cool place, excellent price for a well located and the staff at front desk was attentive.

The Iber is wonderful in that you can walk from the lift straight down to the banks and the pool.

Beautiful garden, floathing pool on the Nile!

The waiters were always polite and the pool was a big plus.

The staff went out of there way to help us and the rooms were always clean and fresh.

The staff was very nice, room was pretty comfortable and clean, the included breakfast was delicious- a huge buffet.

Unfortunately he got moved to another floor - he should always clean room there are kids and the garden are very nice.

Additionally rooms are clean, considerate and the Food & Beverage Manager made our visit even more memorable by providing a special cake for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary, the adjacent garden are simply amazing.

Room was clean, the breakfast was lovely.
