Iberotel Club Fanara & Residence Sharm el Sheikh

The hotel is in a superb location, situated on the cliff above one of the best diving/snorkelling sites in the world.

This hotel has the best location in the area even though there are newer ones you couldn't swim with the kids by their beach.

Best all inclusive ever on the best location in Sharm El Sheikh.

The hotel is situated a little out of the way but taxis are cheap and shuttle bus runs from the hotel to Old Market and Naama Bay 3 or 4 times a day - once in the morning and several times in the evening giving you approx 2 hour stay before pickup.

As the hotel mini bus has time restrictions we got taxis, they were £2.

The rooms had air conditioning and heating, and were cleaned on a daily basis, with all bed linen and bath room towels changed.

The room was always very clean and they made a nice decoration with towels on my bed each day.

Every time we went back to the room the cleaner man had put rose petals on bed and put towels into shapes like lotus flowers, boat, swans etc.

Our family room had a sofa bed and a single bed in one room and a king size in the other.

I was in the villa's, some rooms do not have balconys but it wasn't a problem as I was never in there, it was clean & the bed was so comfortable!

Dining was a choice of two restaurants for main meals (Buffet style) with breakfast being served indoors within the main complex of the hotel.

Also long trousers must be worn at both restaurants) Lunch/ Dinner can be taken at the Temple Pool Restaurant which is outside, and situated at the main swimming pool,s also this is where all the snacks and ice creams are served.

The 'La Gazelle' restaurant and bar are a little quieter, and the service and food slightly better than La Medina.

I ate at La Gazelle Restarurant (Italian) one evening and it was quieter and more intimate, but most of my meals were eaten at the main Temple Restaurant.

Went January 07, had a wonderful time, the food can be a bit hit and miss, but that seems to be the peril of going all inc, we always found stuff we were happy to eat, breakfast was easily best meal of the day.

I couldn't fault the staff and the service they provided.

The reception is nice and light, with friendly staff.

There were about three bar staff present most of the time, although there was only one bar person working at any one time, so if you wanted a drink sometimes you had to wait a while for service which was a little tedious at times.

The reception staff were excellent and dealt with any queries that I had quickly and efficiently.

The Temple was quite nice for lunch, as it is outdoors and next to the main pool.

Ample pool and beach towels were also available free of charge.

The pool area was very quiet in the day even with a few kids running around.

I was disappointed at first by how tired our room was but it was exceptionally clean, as was the whole hotel.

We stayed in a club room which was quite small but it was clean and as we were only there for 7 nights we were not bothered, if we went again I would upgrade to a family room.

We loved Sayed at reception and clean room.

I think we will return to this hotel as it was extremely clean and everything in the club area is on your doorstep, much better than waiting for buggies to take you to your room when its too hot to walk like with the bigger hotels.

The hotel, room and ground are lovely, kept very clean, and there are plenty of staff to help.
