There is a travel agents in the hotel but we never looked to compare prices but it might be worth a quick peek.
Portuguese; b) all prices for fun are in euros and far more expensive than if you contracted them outside the hotel; c) no nightlife.
Now if you dont want to pay for the extra excusions you are taken back to the hotel, okay if the weater is nice but if not you will be bored out of your brain.
Overall we had a excellent holiday in this beautiful location.
We usually take 3 or 4 holidays abroad a year choosing different location, but I can see us going back here again soon.
I would have had a massage but I found the location of the massage huts not very private.
There are a few things that are mentioned in the brochure that have yet to be introduced, the bus service has not started yet but taxis are provided for 20 reals to praia do forte which is 10 dollars there and another back.
Other problem which George sorted for us was the loss of our tickets for return flight home - we discovered this on bus on way to airport.

The room was a good size including a bed that measured 2 metres square, the bed was made every day with the towels left on your bed in shapes of swans etc.
Big rooms with balconies, marble bathrooms, two double beds, air con.
There is one restaurant and to be honest its was a limited buffet so we had room service and it was good, most people just went to bed as you get picked up the next day to go to rio.

Rooms spacious, the main bar served great cocktails and food in all restaurants was superb.
The main buffet restaurant had a good choice for breakfast (including English and continental) lunch and diner.
There were also 2 beach restaurants, one also served Breakfast and both served lunch, again with lots of choice.
Food in all restaurants was superb but at times the buffet restaurant was so busy it was like a school canteen, but that was incredibly rare.

Fantastic location right on the beach, value is great and the reception staff are very helpful.
Moreover all the staff from the front of house to the gardeners are extremely pleasant, the service is excellent and the rooms are great.
To get around this we either got a glass of straight gin etc from the pool bar before it shut at 5pm or the lobby bar and took this back to our room and added the mixer later.
Although it is not very noticeable, you may be affected if you use the swimming pool to the left of the lobby area and also if your rooms are on one of the blocks to the left.
The daytime entertainment round the pool was excellent.
The hotel was beautiful, staff were great and rooms- The rooms were excillent kept spotlessly clean.

Rooms were very clean, japanese restaurant was great and all the local cocktails were good.
The hotel, rooms, bars, pool areas, restaurants, corridors etc etc are all absolutely spotless and I am sure they have 24 hour cleaning around the hotel.
