The location is great and this hotel is nicely located close to subways.

The location is great - when you leave the front entrance if you go either left or right you will find many restaurants.

We found the location to be very convenient to Shinjuku Station.

There is a regular shuttle bus to the Shinjuku station (by walk it takes 8-15 min) and the hotel is also one of the stop for the Airport Limousine Bus.

However, the location right at Shinjuku Park, across the street from a subway station, and a short walk to the huge Shinjuku station, was great as a home base for touring.

When booking, we've requested possible upgrade to a king-bed-size room and got it without a problem.

The guest rooms are a decent size, and very clean, but the bathrooms are a little old fashioned.

During the Easter holiday, there is no one king bed size room for the first night.

We have changed from a twin room to a king size one bed room for last 2 nights.

To be 100% sure, I faxed the hotel 24 hours in advance to confirm my room and bed size request.

I ate at the Italian restaurant in the hotel, Machiavelli, which had great food and excellent service.

The club lounge served a comprehensive breakfast buffet, snacks/soft drinks/tea/coffee during the day, and an evening spread of canapes, hot dishes, wines and spirits from 6-8pm.

The Regency Club lounge had a fantastic free breakfast buffet - meat, eggs, fruit, cereal, capuccinos, fresh bread and pastries, all the lox you can eat, and a great view.

I think the restaurant which serves the Japanese breakfast must not be a bad one (judging by the decor and service), and I hope I just had a bad experience.

Waking distance to the famous Park Hyatt (lost in translation **) , indoor pool, about 6 restaurants, beauty shop, Hotel Concierge offers Tokyo day trips which i would highly recommend.

Staffs of reception and concierge are excellent and I could not pick any mistakes from their services.

The staff were all very pleasant and friendly, room service was very good and prompt.

Staff were very polite and the concierge was helpful.

The gym staff seemed a bit dozy, but on the whole, the service is very good.

Hotel has wonderful facilities (pool, sauna, spa).

Excellent spa and gym on the top floor and very nice chinese restaurant on the ground floor.

My boyfriend lost his JR pass, and we thought it was on the shuttle.

Elegant, clean spotless hotel, room not huge but larger than most in this city.

The service was first class, the rooms were spotless.

Moreover the rooms are fairly large, all facilities are very clean.

The hotel is clean, temperature of room is HOT and DRY.

They eventually upgraded us to two upper level smoking rooms (we weren't happy about the smoking part but the rooms were pretty clean and odour free).
