Hyatt Regency Morristown

The location is pretty decent - right off the town center and next to a movie theater with shops and restaurants right outside the door.

The hotel is in a great location-right in the middle of the Morristown shopping and restaurant district.

The Hyatt is a very clean location and looks to have been updated in the past few years.

Walking on the other side, a few blocks is Morristown train station can go to New York City, so I guess this hotel is also good for New Yorkers without car to have a weekend getaway.

Also hotel is walking distance to train station.

I had asked for two beds, but was told that it would be an hour until a two-bed room was available, but then was only offered a king with a roll-away.

The room was beautifully appointed; the bed itself was probably the most comfortable I've ever slept on with its pillow top mattress, fluffy down comforter, and lots of pillows and throws.

In addition, it was equipped with 2 double beds - loads of decor pillows, and 4 sleeping pillows on each bed.

Room: King bed was a bit higher than usual - possibly because it was a pillowtop mattress sitting on a tall boxspring.

Our room was spacious and clean and the bed had a nice duvet.

The restaurant was beautifully decorated and offered delicious, individually prepared meals; the espresso bar offered excellent coffee.

The bar and restaurant not only had great service but the food and drinks were pretty good and we had a great time.

Nice bar, although a little noisy being part of the lobby, but the full restaurant menu was available as well as a "lite fare" menu - I sampled items from both and the food was quite good.

The lobby was beautiful and the restaurant and bar looked very nice, but I didn't use either.

I enjoy dining in the Eclectic Grill for both Breakfast & Dinner and the Qube Lounge for a relaxing cocktail.

The one thing that I will say about the Hyatt, though, is that the front desk staff were very nice and professional and their customer service was excellent.

The staff at the front desk was very nice and check us in right away at midnight.

Parking was annoying in that every time that you went out you had to take two elevators, one to the lobby and another one to your room (the parking elevator only goes to the lobby).

Elevators are recently renovated, the food at the restaurant is amazing and complimentary gym / pool facilites are second to none.

Since the hotel is located within the Morriston Headquarters Plaza complex we were able to take the elevator to the lobby, walk down the corridor, and be at a Loew's movie complex.

Internet access is limited to wireless (managed by Wayport) and price wasn't displayed anywhere.

Supposedly they offer wireless adaptors if you need to borrow one.

The bathroom was impeccably clean and the pot pourri made it fragrant.

The staff was friendly, the room was extremely clean.

The rooms are clean and the bedside clock/radio is good.

The room was extremely clean and in excellent condition with no appalling smell (my pet peeve).

The staff was very friendly and the room was large - clean and very comfortable.
