Hyatt Regency Miami - 迈阿密

The location is centrally located to enjoy all of Miami.

Great location next to the park we saw the New Year's eve celebration at Bayfront Park downtown and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

The Hyatt is in a good location in Miami - close to the port for people going on cruises and just beyond the port is South Beach.

It was a great place to stay the night before a cruise because it was about a 15 min cab ride from the airport and then another 10 min cab ride to the cruise terminal.

But by the same token, the cabs from the airport and to the port were cheap, so it might not be such a bad homebase if you are willing to pay a little extra for cabs.

Two queen beds, plus a walled-off dressing area that contained the closet, bathroom vanity area and separate room for shower-tub and toilet.

Our room was the grand king bedroom and the bed was very comfortable.

The towels were clean but it seemes the housekeepper had long hair, which I found on one towel, on the bath mat, on the sink, and on the top sheet of the bed.

The beds are comfortable and the rooms with two double beds are well designed for roommates, with a closet to change in and a partition between the beds and the bathrooms.

It was big room with a dining room table and 4 chairs and a couch besides for my huge king size bed.

Breakfast Buffett was quite expensive for what was on offer, althought the service in the restaurant was very good.

Bathroom were very clean, service in the sports bar were good and the manager offered me free buffet breakfast.

The gym was nice (even if it is small) and the restaurants were surprisingly good (cafe had nice sandwiches, pastries and the sit-down restaurant has the best fries).

I overheard other guests complaining about the cost of the breakfast buffet ($20) in the restaurant.

The morning of our cruise, I took the advice of travelers who posted on the web to eat at a restaurant/hotel next door.

Everyone from the maids to the bellmen to the front desk staff were prompt, friendly, and helpful.

We found the service, the food, and the staff to be of excellent service.

The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, especially at the concierge desk.

Liked Miami, the very nice frangrance entering the lobby and the staff to be of excellent service.

Hotel shares lobby and elevators with Miami Convention Center, usually crowded to very, very crowded depending on CC event.

Last event: A mouse ran across the lobby floor in front of us as we went toward the elevator late at night, headed up for our room.

The gym was a bit small with all machines taken at 7am, the pool was small for my liking.

The room was clean with signs of obvious wear.

The room we stayed in was very clean and spacious and the decor looked very new.

The rooms were very clean, modern, comfortable and spacious.

The only fault I found was that the bathroom itself was dated and though clean, looked dirty.

The room was clean, the buffet restaurant was very good and check-in staff was very friendly.
