Also, the location is surprisingly close to many attractions, including downtown La Jolla, downtown San Diego, the zoo, sea world, and the like.

The location is terrific; close to the beach, and all major attractions.

Nice location, one of the best malls in San Diego IMO and we received a great rate from Booked.

It's about a 15 minute drive to Sea World, Old Town, the airport, Qualcomm Stadium, Downtown, Balboa Park, etc.

Even if you don't have a rental car, taxis are plentiful.

When i required if there were suites with other beds, the anser was" No, but we can connect a room next to yours and make it a 1 bedroom suite.

The rooms are nice, with comfortably beds, but housekeeping only changes the sheets every three days and doesn't bother to re-tuck the bottom sheets, so on days two and three, they're sliding and bunched and you're forced to make your own bed.

Very nice, room was clean, large tv, soft bed and pillows.

We were moved to a king-bed room the next morning, but that night, we cranked the thermostat up to 80 and shivered under our blankets, waiting for the heat to come up.

So, considering everything, $300 a night doesn't get you a good bed and it doesn't get you a good bathroom.

The included continental breakfast was the same food as in the hotel restaurant, as far as we could tell.

The breakfast was pretty blah, I would avoid the hotel restaurant with so many great places to eat in the SD area.

The in-house restaurant was only open for breakfast and lunch, and was expensive--$19 for breakfast buffet.

Hint- nearby is a bakery/restaurant called Elijah's- simple "diner" type which was great for breakfast.

Only thing is that breakfast bar is VERY busy on Sunday's.

From the time we checked in with the front desk, to the doorman, to the valet service all was excellent service, above and beyond.

My husband and I were greeted with the warmest welcome from both the doorman, and the entire front desk staff, especially Daveda at the front desk.

The service was excellent, a female concierge was pleasant and helpful, the room was clean.

Location is great - 5 min, the hotel breakfast is very good and the front desk staff could not be more helpful.

It has multiple restaurants, lounges, a huge gym and spa, and a large pool area with cabanas for rent.

While I did not have the time to play tourist in this area, the pool and gym facilities were large -- almost Hearst Castle looking -- and I would have enjoyed using the facilities had time allowed.

However, the hotel grounds are a community unto themselves, with several good restaurants and lounges, a lovely pool, and great fitness facility.

The room was clean and fresh even without articial deodorent.

The hotel staff were polite and the rooms were very clean.

A nice stay, the staff were very courteous and helpful, the rooms were beautiful and clean.

The rooms were comfortable, clean and chic.

The room was clean, snacks were delicious and the employees were extremely nice.
