Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort Orlando - 奥兰多

The location is very close to everything.

The location was excellent, close to everything, and the hotel provided shuttles to various points.

The location is close to the parks but in a dangerous part of town.

Since it was a $50 cab ride one way from the airport to here, and also considering the taxi rides we'd be paying on our way out to dinner, we felt renting a car was a good bargain.

The hotel also offers an hourly shuttle service to and from the airport (charge) for those who have not rented a car and want to save money from using a taxi.

This resort was more than happy to fulfill my request for double beds and even provided a rollaway bed (more like an actual twin bed with double mattress), a room with a view of the pool and the Disney fireworks.

Only negatives are food prices (eat out) in the resort and smaller than expected rooms - two double bed room was small -.

Our room was lovely and we had two large windows where we could lie in bed and watch the Disney fireworks on one side and the Seaworld fireworks on the other, great and very romantic!

The rooms are average size with fair beds, worn carpet, old fashioned 19"TV, and a floral trellis wallpaper in the bathroom that has to be seen to be believed!

Air conditioning was terrible in our small double bed room.

Only on one occasion did we have breakfast in the restaurant which proved good value but would have added a stone in weight to each of us had we eaten there for 10 mornings.

The only restaurant we ate was at Cascade for breakfast everyday.

The Cascade restaurant is where we ate breakfast was okay, and reasonably priced for a resort.

The restaurants are overpriced: We ate at the sports bar and for four people the bill was $300.

The palm court deli is more cost effective and great for quick meals, a light breakfast, or even to take food back to your room.

The service we received from the front desk, concierge and lobby staff was great.

The reception staff were very helpful, the concierge likewise and the guided tour of the hotel and it’s facilities was very useful.

They offer full concierge service, including rental car arrangements; the shuttle; gated entry from the main road; four restaurants from which to choose; spa and fitness center; and competent, friendly service.

The hotel & grounds are very large, with many facilities including Bike/jogging trails; horse riding; canoes & peddle boats; tennis courts; a Spa;a fitness centre & Huge pool area, around which they organise activities.

My only small gripe would be that the parking lot is a fair distance from the main lobby/lifts - especially after a long day at the parks.

If you leave it unplugged then T-Mobile's wireless network is 9.

No wireless internet, only daily plans, connected to a wire, priced at $10 per day.

The service is excellent and the rooms are clean and fresh.

The staff is friendly and courteous and the rooms are clean and fresh.

It is very clean and you can charge everything to your room.

Our rooms were clean every day when we returned.

Pro's- The room was clean and quiet, we booked a garden view and were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a lake view room.
