The deluxe double room at Aurea Palacio de Sober was absolutely amazing! The cozy bed was super comfy, and the room had everything I needed for a worry-free stay. I loved the charming old manor house vibe, it made me feel like I was staying in a fairytale castle.
Personally, I wasn't too fond of the single beds in the room. But hey, that's just my preference, and I'm sure others would still enjoy them.

A luxurious hotel without any pretence. Unbelieveable attention to detail in every department. Beautiful relaxing gardens and spa. Attentative but not intrusive staff who were always there to help. Sumptuous bedroom with stunning views over the Ribeira Sacra countryside. The hotel's restaurant offers exceptional cuisine. Excellent use of local produce with a modern twist, prepared by Galicia's recently voted number one chef. Excellent wine list including many local award winning wines, priced very reasonably. Unforgettable stay - we are already planning a return visit this year.
Nothing. As near as possible to perfection in every category!

The deluxe double room at Aurea Palacio de Sober was simply amazing! I loved the cozy feel of the old manor house and the comfort of the double bed. The room had everything I needed for a relaxing and carefree stay. It made me feel like I was in a fairytale!
Although the charm of the old manor house was delightful, some may find it a bit too rustic for their taste.

Enjoyed a world-class hotel experience with stunning architecture, friendly staff, and delicious meals at the nearby restaurant Berso. Truly a memorable stay!
Who needs wifi in their rooms or a lunch option at a hotel? So overrated!

Great service even for a 5 star hotel. Fantastic restaurant and surroundings.
It is a pity that just one employee speaks English.

The comfort of the bedroom came close to our own, the quality of the food in the restaurant despite the chef not being in those days, was the level we enjoy. The friendliness of the reception personnel was an extra plus. The pool area was clean and spacious, the gardens were well cared for and the surroundings peaceful.
The explanation and access to the spa was not explained sufficiently.

This hotel is situated in the heart of an enchanting nature with deep canyons, ancient monasteries, and beautiful vineyards. The staff is friendly, welcoming us in an impressive manner and showing us around its lovely facilities. The room is fabulous and comfortable, with elegant furniture and a luxurious bathroom. Breakfast was delightful, with a lovely terrace to dine on.
The hotel's cafeteria was closed on Mondays, suggesting limited options for dining.

The hotel is perfectly located near the breathtaking Sil Canyon with stunning views. The service provided by the welcoming team was exceptional, especially the English-speaking lady who greeted us and our amazing waitress. We loved the option to order drinks to any of the hotel's beautiful seating areas and enjoyed the delightful dinner and wine. The gardens were also a highlight, adding to the overall wonderful experience. Highly recommended for families.
Felt just like home, no complaints whatsoever.

The spa was small but luxurious, providing a relaxing experience. The room was spacious and well-appointed, and the dinner served at the hotel was absolutely fantastic. The breakfast was amazing and the gardens were beautiful. The pool was also very relaxing and enjoyable.
The room was not soundproof at all, which made it very difficult to sleep at night. the restaurant was not accommodating to hotel guests, which was frustrating after a long drive.

The hotel's interior decoration was simply magnificent. The grand stone walls and archways throughout the manor house created a charming and special ambiance. As a senior, I found the general areas of the hotel to be easily accessible and comfortable to navigate.
I would have appreciated more staff available to assist senior guests. Sometimes it was difficult to find someone to help with requests or inquiries.

We had an amazing romantic getaway at this hotel! The architecture was a beautiful blend of old and new, and the views of the hills and valleys were breath-taking. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant offered imaginative and high-quality meals. We loved being able to enjoy breakfast on the outside terrace and relaxing in the tranquil water gardens. The pool was also a great perk!
There were a few downsides to our stay. The rooms were a bit noisy due to poor insulation, and we could hear everything from the neighboring room.
