This hotel was listed as 3 stars and should have been maybe 1.5 stars. The facade and lobby look promising but that all ends once you climb the stairs to your room. Our room had a "window" which was a shoji screen covered in rice paper. Looking outside that window was a wall of the hotel with openings and through those I could see the windows on the facade of the hotel. The air conditioning was strong but it felt like a waste of electricity when there was no glass in the windows. There was no hot water until 8am when it became only warm which seems strange for a hotel in an area of hotsprings. There was no proper shower, only a hand held shower, no shower curtain and a bucket. It didn't help that there was a dead cockroach on the floor that disappeared during the night. Overall, very disappointed in a falsely advertised 3 star hotel that claimed to provide breakfast. After the bathroom situation, I wasn't interested in breakfast in this place. There are so many hotel options in Taipei, keep looking, there is something better out there.

Non-professional service from receiptionist, who always says... I don't know, I am a new comer here. Emergency exit sign is not clear enough to show and to let people out. The window in the room is totally closed by steel protection. Dirty room with bugs, unbeliebable climbing up to the body when sleep!! Compare with all service and room quality, the price is very very expensive.

very enjoy for the spa...breakfast also not bad...woker very friendly...

no hot water at room 520..after spa no hot water clean and wash body...basin also no hot water...when I stay is winter...can you imagine use cold water at winter???

No elevator - difficult to bring luggage up to the stairs, no wifi in the room (only at lobby), small room without windows, no clock to tell time, hot spring was not that hot, a small desk without room for chair to sit down - cannot or work on my laptop or put on cosmetics.
