Location, location and location. Very safe neighborhood and easy walk to Michigan Ave shopping or Lake Shore Drive, and Navy Pier etc. great restaurant with good breakfast, lunch and dinner menus and very pleasant night shift and day shift staff.

Carpet is worn in rooms and needs replacing, but rest of the room was quite large and comfortable. Very quiet, even though 100% full. I would stay there again and again if I have need to be in Chicago.

Access to public transportation and tourist atractions

Rooms doesn't have fridge or minibar, so you have to put your drinks in a ice bucket. Dosen't offer breakfeast either. But it is a Nice and clean hotel, good option for who need a checo placê inChicago.

Location was good. 5 blocks from the magnificent mile. Metro station close by. Room was big. "Free parking" but high room price.

Overall dissapointing. Internet does not work.(checked with multiple devices) Room was noisy. Asked for non-smoking, but room was clearly smoked in. When asking staff for information, they knew little to nothing about the area (2 different managers!) Price is high for what you get.

The only good thing about this hotel is its location and that parking is free provided there's space to park.

I did not like the quality of the rooms, they were dark. The restrooms are cramped. The TV's are old, the remote did not work and the whole appearance of the hotel in itself was not that great. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff was great, location was great, price/value was great. Free parking which is partly why I chose this hotel. My room was very comfortable too. Front desk available 24/7 and security guard was always on duty at night so I felt safe.

I thought I'd booked a smoking room but apparently I didn't, or else there was a mixup. It's ok either way and wasn't really a big deal anyway.

Location is fantastic, rooms are clean and staff is friendly. All good points for a 3 nights stay in Chicago and explore the city.

I would have liked to have breakfast included to make all even nicer. However there is a cafe just next to the hotel serving breakfast all day.It would have been nice if they had offered a baby cot for our son but to be fair I did ask for a microwave to be placed in our room and the following day they put one free of charge. Staff really friendly.

Location is hard to beat if you are wanting to stay north of the river. Very friendly staff. This is a rare classic motor lodge of which there are only a couple in Chicago where high-rise hotels are the norm. Free parking was a great surprise most hotels charge $40-$50 extra at most hotels.

It has been kept up well but is showing its age. If you are looking for city view or fancy rooms this is not the place for you.

I liked especially the courteous treatment by the efficient desk clerk and the kindness and efficiency I encountered over the return to me here at home of the cellphone I left behind when I left.
