Very nice staff; room was very clean.

Extremely run down; breakfast room was very shabby; television was very old. Needs an overhaul. Off the beaten track.

Hotel staff changed my room, they (the staff) were fairly nice.

First room I got was extremely cold. The old air-con unit virtually did not work at all... at first I thought the whole hotel was this old and was thinking of moving to another one, but then I was re-assigned to another room, same thing but air-con unit was new. There was no plug under the desk -- poor design -- if you use a laptop, the cord will have to be across the room to be a trip hazard. One of the staircase was also poorly designed -- my wife bumped her head on the cement and that was really painful.

Comfortable. Really nice place. Guy from the front desk really hepful (the one during the day), rest of the staff doesn't speak english so well so sometimes is hard to understand what they are saying. They don't speak spanish either... so weird thing fot the us!.

Breakfast: Old donuts - weird bread and bad coffee. Is far from the Metro, like 10-15 minutes walking. if u have a suitcase to pull over the road, u'll be in trouble, there is no sidewalk so u'll have to pull it through grass and dust... not great if it's rainy as my case. Once u get to the station is great. Places to eat are far away, but I always ordered to the room.... so it was fine.

It was an excellent location and I found it very convenient to walk to the Metro station rather than driving and trying to find parking. The facilities of the room were good.

Rather noisy and difficult to access when driving east on New York Avenue.

The Ethiopian man at the counter was helpful and courteous, unlike the Spanish boy who couldn't be bothered to help...Breakfast was simple, but plenty for a morning. Just the location was a pain in the butt, with no public transport nearby, nor decent footpath & plenty of traffic, as it is really difficult to walk on the highway in the rain !!!!!!!

The lousy location & no public transport nearby.........The Spanish boy who couldn't be bothered to help out guests...

Umm, two full rolls of toilet paper in the bathroom? Staff was ok...

First of all, I made a reservation for a non-smoking room about 5 days prior to arrival. When I got there they gave me a smoking room and told me that's the only room they had. Of course it was smelling disgusting. Furniture was shabby and worn out and internet was horrific. "Dinning area" is the same room where the front desk is and with 4 tables looks and smells terrible so I never had any breakfast in the house. Housekeeping is also not doing a great job. On my last day, just before the checkout I met a little bug on my nightstand. Didn't say hello. Location is very bad - located on one side of the highway with no real sidewalks. Trains are passing nearby and every time the whole place would shake like it's falling apart. I was going for the low price, but this is just one of those places that will make you regret it.

Relatively low rates; cab service into the central city worked well

The internet service was truly awful--seemed like a dial-up system.

dirty rooms, unwilling personnel, poor breakfast

The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable.

Horrible location, cleaning staff apparently smoked in the room (I don't smoke and my room would smell like cigarettes every morning. I also found what I think was ash on the floor).

      Close proximity to attractions

Bathroom was brand new and very clean, carpet was new, bedspreads were extremely old, furniture was beat-up, large gap under the door which faced the busy street. Lobby where breakfast was served was dirty so we skipped the free breakfast. Was good for the money but I was uneasy about the neighborhood. I was glad we only stayed one night. Affordability was our motive.

Nothing at all. The worst hotel I ever stayed in in my life. Certainly it will be the first and the last time ever. Had I stayed in a low-class motel I would have felt better about it. This hotel should be closed down forever or at least change the location and reconsider the staffing and service potentials.

1- Location: a) Far from public transportation facilities, e.g. metro stations. b) Unavailability of street-crossing areas or pavements for pedestrians to cross the street in front of the hotel. c) Noise because of the highway and the nearby railway crossing. 2- Staff: a) Inefficient not courteous personnel. What is the purpose of a "Do Not Disturb" sign when the personnel do not abide by it??? It is in Spanish as well! b) disrespectful pesonnel. c) Inefficient room service. d) Frequent locking of the room key-card which makes it in uncomfortable to go back and forth to the office to request activation. e) When asking for a taxi service, the office manager (or whoever was there) called for a taxi that is basically a rip-off and a scam, Which (without a meter) requests for three folds the regular fare from the hotel to the airport. f) Forgetting to replenish the (free) daily coffee in each room and when the "guest" asks in the main office for that the manager starts with attitudes inquiring "are you sure?" 3- Hotel rooms: a) Dirty towels and sheets. b) Noisy surroundings especially when the room is under or near the stairs. I suggest one or more of the following: 1- Change the hotel's management and staff AND 2- Change the hotel's location. OR 1- Close the hotel forever. OR 1- Keep the same staff and the location BUT change the hotel's name to something more "ghetto"! This is a hotel in the capital of the nation, and the hotel carries a president's name for God sake!
