Hotel Zico Mountain View - 芒廷维尤

Although the location is right off the hwy it was very quiet.

A word to the front desk and we were moved to a super quiet location.

Which brings me to the location of the hotel.

The hotel, with no traffic, was about 15 minutes from San Jose Airport and about 30-45 minutes from downton SF.

There was an omelets station - but no one manning it - a little disappointed in that.

The room featured a beautiful iron mirror, silk bed spread in shades of blue, sleek marble counter top in the bathroom and a water-fall sink.

The staff set us up with a pull-out bed, but then went the extra distance and moved us to a room with two beds when they got a cancellation.

They were in the middle of renovating the lobby, so the "front office" was a guest room where they removed the bed.

When we checked in we discovered that our room only had one bed (our fault).

We were forced to check out of this hotel out of disgust, and in fact we threw away our luggage and some of our clothing that we feared might have been infested by the bed bugs that inhabited the room.

Full buffet breakfast in morning with pretty good food!

The breakfast was in a clean, attractive and well thought out facility and the food produced was hot and satisfying with good choices available.

The breakfast is average (hot food includes eggs, bacon, pancakes), but it's included in the rate.

Reasonable walking distance to Castro Street and its blocks of good ethnic restaurants and kitschy shops.

This hotel has a hot breakfast every morning and the staff are happy and helpful, they even smile.

The staff kept the dining area well stocked, for me Best Value Inn has worked out the best and front desk was always polite.

The parking is underground so the parking can be a little snug, but there's an elevator from the garage up to the rooms.

The outside gives no hint at the goodness inside as it shares a parking lot with another hotel.

Ok, this is an old hotel, a Travelodge with a face lift.

This hotel is the best and high speed internet works great.

Their "high speed" Internet was extremely unreliable throughout my 2 week stay.

The staff are happy and helpful, the bathroom is clean also, some good free breakfast you are at.

The room was clean and the breakfast was above standard for the Continental that was described.

Picked the Best Value Inn via a listing board service and the toilet is clean.

Moreover staff was excellent and friendly, the modern bathroom sink was cool, the breakfast was in a clean.

Room was clean, spacious, nice upgrades, kitchenette, small fridge, microwave.
