Location was good.
Staff did not speak a word of English, and were in no way helpful. Rooms were not cleaned.

The hotel was a great choice, in the old city, with great services (jacuzzi on rooftops was a great experience) and very helpful staff. It was the high season, so it was a bit pricey, but not overly for the standard provided. All rooms have AC and are very tastefully decorated. All living areas (common room with great sofas and big flat screen TV, bar, office with complimentary PC and wifi) give onto a beautifully decorated courtyard, where you also get breakfast. All round, a great place to stay in Cartagena.

Professional, kind staff, tranquil surroundings, beautiful in its simplicity. Great wireless connection. Convenient location on a quiet street that is close to one of the many plazas in the walled city where there are restaurants.
Jacuzzi wasn't heated so I wasn't particularly motivated to use it at night.

The staff was accommodating.
Rooms were small_ even the others in that hotel which I looked at. Location is on the fringes of the nice area of the walled city. More like a 2 to 21/2 star hotel, not a 4-star as you indicated.

The hotels is hirrific and you should stop working with them immediately. It is a complete rip off. The staff speaks nothing but Spanish, my room had no safe, no working TV, a blocked toilet, wood warm that caused pieces of wood to fall from the ceiling on the bed and the rest of the room area. Endless list of problems. The service was awful and no effort was made to resolve any of the situations created during my stay.

Boutique Hotel in a quiet yet central part of Old Cartagena. A perfect base to explore this beautiful and safe city.
The ground floor rooms have little natural light and sound does tend to carry. The room rates vary but in actual fact, the more you pay - the wider the bed, and that is all !

The old colonial style coutyard and buidling
the room is extremely unclean including the towels, the walls are molded, there is no hot water as they promised. Totally expensive for this kind of room - I paid 158 dollar for one night which is worth less than 70 dollar I would say

Very good service, kind staff, location of hotel are very good and pleasant.
No towels in the room for showers. Room is located in front of kitchen where breakfast is prepared rather noisily in the morning, so a bit disturbing (particularly juice mixer)

Poor maintenance - did not have hot water in the bathroom, only one of the 4 jacuzzis in working condition, towels and linen old and stained, poor / limited breakfast selection

Ideal location within the old city walls. Lovely cool courtyard. Helpful staff.
Very overpriced....but maybe this is typical of Cartagena hotels. Room was very basic, clean but dark and gloomy. Linen was ordinary. Disappointing for the price.
