Everything is average, lots of Zermatt travelling guides in hotel, staff is friendly.
The hotel should inform guest that they have pick up service at the train station at location is far and need to climb up hill and stairs. Wifi not working well and cannot see Mt Matterthorn as described by other travellers. Construction work nearby.

We were greeted fantastically and our room (1) had a great view of the Matterhorn, which we had requested. We have been holidaying Europe for the past 4 weeks and this is the best hotel we have stayed in. The best bed, best breakfast by far and the greatest view. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Yours was the only hotel we found tea and coffee facilities which we are normally used to in Australia We had the best stay and wish we stayed longer. Many thanks.

The hotel was very charming, very clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was very nice. Location is very convenient to Sunegga train and the bus to other ski lifts. Easy walk to main shopping/dining area of town.
The beds could have been more comfortable.

We were lucky to get a budget studio with a porch and lawn, offering a direct view of the Matterhorn. The room was spacious and the kitchenette had all the necessary equipment. The Welschen family was pleasant and welcoming, providing helpful guidance during check-in. Breakfast was simple but filling, and the service was friendly. The warmth and concern of the Welschen family made our stay cozy and homely. I highly recommend this hotel.

We were upgraded to a room with a view of the Matterhorn. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel had a great ambiance and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. The location was convenient and offered a stunning view of Zermatt.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.
