Hotel Vis A Vis

The best part about this hotel is its location---situated on a hill overlooking not one, but two picturesque bays, it is possible to watch both sunrise and sunset into the ocean.

The location is close to the town and the railway station-it makes life easy.

Great location overlooking Sestri Levante, that a most excellent place to stay and staff were all very pleasant and helpful.

Good location for visiting Liguria - circa 40 mins to Portofino, the view from this hotel is amazing and the pool is lovely.

It is well positioned being just a short walk to the town and local station.

The room was quiet and the bed comfortable.

And finally, the rooms are so small only carry on bags fit in the space next to the bed and the surrounding walls.

And the rooms where dirty and the bed felt hard as a rock.

Friendly staff, the bed comfortable and the food was excellent.

Our room was small, but nice and had a beautiful view of the sea and town (not all rooms do).

The following morning we had breakfast in the restaurant which was on the upper floor with great views but limlited menu.

Shower would be very difficult for a large person to get into, dining at the restaurant is highly recommended - the delicious food and vis a Vis is not a bad choice.

Despite the perfect location of the restaurant, the food left a lot to be desired.

The front desk crew, the pool crew and the restaurant employees were well informed, happy and always available to help.

An elevator takes you to the street level for when you venture into town.

The pool is great for both adults and children of all ages, with a friendly pool attendant and a rather buxom, tanned and bikini-clad young lady who keeps the kids (and dads) amused in the afternoons.

There is a nice pool and a gorgeous dining and terrace areas overlooking the hotel gardens and Sestri levante.

The rooms are on the small side, but modern and clean with all the amenities.

The rooms were unfortunately motel like but clean and well maintained by discreet staff (you would not have known they were there).
