Didn't pay full list price but it was still quite expensive so expected a good hotel.

Classified as a 5 star hotel, not quite if compared to The Palace or The Ritz, but it's a good deal for your money.

The price was very fair and our overall good experience makes this a hotel we would definitely use again when in Madrid.

Next time, I would book directly through the hotel's website (Derby Hotels) since the website price was identical to the Booked.net price.

Nice location, well situated for the museums etc and great neighborhood within walking distance of most of central historic Madrid.

LOCATION: The location is ideal and the hotel is ideally located - central to the 3 main museums.

Very well located, near the Museums and the location of the hotel was excellent.

Paid less than 30 Euros taxi-fare from the airport.

Also, another tip would be to use the Metro from the airport.

There are two restaurants in the lobby of the hotel - one a bar and restaurant (expensive and not great food) and one more fancy (it's rated pretty high in Frommer's but it was out of our price range).

We ate lunch in the bar restaurant and the food was excellent.

Friendly & acomodating staff, clean split level rooms, great buffet breakfast & a nice restaurant with innovative cuisine.

It's relatively small but has two restaurants and a bar/restaurant.

We did not eat there but the bar and restaurant looked very nice.

Overall service from the concierge and front desk staff was fully adequate and the maids did a really thorough job in our room.

Excellent service, although i wouldn't say they had a real concierge, just helpful front staff (they even supplied a plug adapter for the duration of our stay).

There does not appear to be a pool at the hotel (there is a great one on the top floor of Hotel Urban) and the gym is currently closed.

The original Roman mosaics are a distinctive attraction and a computer in the main lobby allows free internet and email access.

They must have used the jacuzzi about three times over the course of the night.

There was wireless internet access throughout the hotel, which I used extensively and found to be of a good quality (i.

It is very expensive wireless (about $15 for only one hour).

Lovely room, nice cosy modern restaurant and clean facilities.

Our rooms were quiet, spacious and spotlessly clean.

Although the rooms are small, they are very clean.

Very well located, near the Museums and the location of the hotel was excellent. The staff was great, we loved the terrace we had off the main bedroom and the bar was hip and modern. Service in the resturant very good as was the breakfast, a special plus for the sparkling wine we got the first night.

Fairly quiet location, confortable luxury hotel and well worth the price. The lobby is lovely and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are recently renovated and the food is the best we have had in all of our visits to Spain.
