Hotel Vila Gale Cerro Alagoa Albufeira - 阿尔布费拉

We feel one of the best assets of this hotel however is the location.

Great value for money, good location with excellent facilities - pub, pool.

Firstly, the hotel itself is in an excellent location - 10 mins or so from the lovely Old Town and Fishermans Beach (both of which are accessible by taking a short stroll, then using the escalators which take you down to the town and beach.

The town itself was very clean, an early wake up call & transport to the airport were arranged most efficiently and lovely indoor pool included in stay.

The location of the hotel is ok - we took taxis or the train/bus when going to the Old Town or Strip - both are within walking distance but neither are particularly scenic.

Rooms - The rooms have 2 big single beds in and as there were 3 of us per room a third bed was set up.

Spotless hotel, room cleaned thoroughly daily, helpful staff, internet facilities (2 computers in hall - 5 euro per hour ), bed linen changed every 2 days, clean towels every day if you leave used towels on bathroom floor.

The room was large with a king size bed a seperate room with a sofa and dining table and a large bathroom.

The room was decorated to a high standard and it had the most comfy bed I have ever sleep in abroad.

The hotel was very good accomodation wise and as it wasnt high season i managed to get up graded to a room with a double bed which was very kind of them.

The hotel comes with breakfast included and has many selections of food its just like ordering in a restaurant and not your continental breakfasts you have eggs, bacon, fruits, cereal and much more.

We never ate in the hotel other than for breakfast, but there is a large selection of restaurants in the old town, which is only 10 minute walk away.

The restaurant is well laid out with a great selection of food for breakfast time.

We were only bed & breakfast so I cannot comment on the evening meals, but breakfasts were excellent with lots of choice and what was on offer was top quality.

Drinking in the bar the staff were very helpful and breakfast was great.

Reception staff were generally good, but on the last day we were unfortunate enough to encounter a female receptionist who was the most unhelpful, and certainly rudest receptionist I have ever encountered.

Location, maid service,receptionists,bar staff,breakfasts,swimming pool area, availability of sunbeds all excellent.

The reception staff are welcoming and rooms disappointing could be better.

To use the gym, steam room and sauna was 7.

Jacuzzi could have been hotter and for the indoor pool you have to wear a bathing cap!

In the hotel you could use the indoor pool (need shower cap) and could also use the jaquzzi - and sneak into the sauna and steam room.

Many hotels now offer free wireless connection.

The rooms were really clean and we had a view over the pool and were never bothered with noise at all, although we did speak to people who had a bit of trouble with noise when facing onto the road.

All staff were very friendly and the rooms were really clean.

The rooms are relatively spacious, comfortable and clean.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, this includes the room, the pool area & the hotel in general.

Additionally service is always good and the rooms are clean.
