Hotel Viking Newport - 纽波特

Its situation in Newport is great and the hotel is in a very good location.

The location of the hotel is a huge plus, it's close to everything.

Great location and has much historical value.

It's the size of a urinal - a half moon porcelain sink about a foot wide, stuck onto the wall, with NO counter top at all.

Their new London cab is very cute and adds to the boutique "coolness" of the hotel.

He neglected to mention that it actually had TWO queen beds (warning: unless you get a room with a king bed, all rooms contain two queen beds, which we learned upon check out).

Both rooms included very small televisions; in room 227 the television was placed precariously atop a tall, skinny chest of drawers, and couldn't be seen from the bed comfortably unless your were sitting on the bed sideways.

The tiny bathrooms offered a gas station toilet, no place to put your toiletries, cracked tiles and, in room 210, a cheap plastic tub that flexed alarmingly (several inches!

We found the room to be good - the King bed was very comfortable, the bathroom a good size with good amenities and there was high speed internet, so we could check emails on our laptop.

The sitting room was downstairs that had a desk, sofa bed, TV and another closet.

I highly recommend eating at Franklin Spa for breakfast and Lucia's Italian Restaurant for dinner (excellant bruschetta).

The food is not of cuisine quality or worth the price, you are better off having breakfast in many of the local breakfast spots within walking distance.

Has a nice bar/restaurant, knowledgeable of the menu.

Bedding were very comfortable, the bar staff was courteous and the breakfast buffet on Sunday morning was delicious.

We ate in the Hotel restaurant "One Bellevue", wow what wonderful service and great food.

The front desk staff were polite, speedy and customer service oriented.

We received friendly and attentive service from the bellhops, valets, front desk people, as well as the concierge.

The Front Desk staff is inefficient and clueless in serving customers.

The service from the front desk, bellman and bartender were superb and the location is perfect.

We looked at the pool, I eventually had a massage at the spa and we ate dinner at One Bellevue.

The staff (with the exception of the bell, spa and housekeeping staffs) were incredibly rude.

We especially enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi.

Our room was small for a "Premiere" room but clean and nicely appointed.

Our room was spotless and the furnishings and linens were beautiful.

The bathroom was a good size, clean modern furnishing, nicely scented toiletries, however very limited counter space at the sink.

We stayed in the Newport rooms, which were clean and comfortable.

My room was in the new side of the hotel, which is apparently the only way to go, and was clean and spacious.
