The staff at the hotel were very friendly and were kind enough to phone a taxi for us for the airport.
You can see everything in an afternoon and although this hotel was basic, it was well located, close to all attractions and about 8 euro in a taxi from the train station (probably too far to walk if it is hot or you have luggage).
The room was comfortable, always clean, a comfy bed, A/C, and the bathroom was very nice with a fantastic power shower.
Brilliant shower, comfortable bed and the room was cleaned etc on a daily basis.
Our room (102) was a pretty good size with a king-sized bed but at 120 euros a night it was too expensive for what was on offer.

The area the hotel was in was away from all the tourist traps and all the local restaurants and bars were full of local people which made our trip.
Staff are very friendly, we needed a taxi to the airport and the guy on reception kept trying till he got through (it is quite hard to get a taxi in Pisa so leave plenty of time if you need one!
