The hotel itself is good value for money for the budget-conscious traveller.
Hotel Ventura is in a good location on the Fehervari, one of the wide arterial roads leading to the centre of Budapest.
The location is very good and hotel Ventura is clean.
The trams and buses stop almost in front of the hotel; and that is a very useful facility for people with walking difficulties.
There's no walking around side streets to get to the trams.
Another doorway led to the spacious bedroom, which had a satellite TV, a fridge and a telephone.
Nice small bar and i am really satisfied from the rooms.
My room (actually a 3-bedder) had a little vestibule/ante-room arrangement which provided storage space for cases etc.
The dining-room is large, bright and pleasant, which also serves very good evening meals.
The reception area has a small bar in it, and some comfortable chairs-and table seating, along with a little room for "left luggage" on the day you vacate your room.
Got yelled at in Hungarian when I sat in the "wrong" part of the restaurant for breakfast.
The quality of breakfast is terrible, glasses wasn't clean, the fruit wasn't good, watermelon put together with onions and other vegetables, you can't eat those plums, acid inside.
The staff were very helpful, breakfast was simple.

The desk and restaurant staff were rude and the rooms poorly serviced.
You will find that the lower-level staff don't speak English, but some speak a little bit of German.

One of the wide arterial roads leading to the centre of Budapest, good value for the money and lobby downstairs.
There is a small garden behind the hotel, with chairs and tables for summery weather; but we were never actually in it, and no-one else was using when we were there.
The rooms are basic but, as I said, clean and functional.
The bedrooms are modest, plain, without any pretentious frills, but clean, well-looked-after, comfortable, and very generous for size.
Hotel Ventura is cheap, that's ok, but the rooms are not very clean (mind the carpets!
