This hotel pleasantly surprised us in many ways. the value for money was excellent. We couldn't believe that such affordable prices could result in such a comfortable stay. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive. From the cozy, family-run atmosphere to the lovely smell of the fire burning grill, every aspect added to the overall experience. The location of the hotel was also great, being conveniently close to both the train station and the tram that takes you up to the charming town. Finally, the rooms were clean and spacious, with the added bonus of having a bath and a great view. The breakfast provided a good variety of options, including the unique treat of being able to soft boil our eggs.
All was well, nothing to complain about.

This family-run hotel has very warm and home-like atmosphere. The owner and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect to explore Orvieto itself and the nearby areas. Breakfasts were reach and coffee was perfect. Good value for money. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable with air-conditioning.
Railroad nearby was pretty noisy but it's the common problem for Orvieto.

Good value. Nothing fancy and somewhat dated but it was clean and the staff was friendly. Parking is nearby, sheltered, and you get a dedicated spot for a very reasonable two euros. Location is a short walk (5 to 10 minutes from the funicular) to reach historic Orvieto. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel - both were fine. We enjoyed the local dish umbricelli. Lots of water pressure in the shower.
Air conditioning in the room was not functioning very well. Fortunately it was a cool night and we were on the back side of the hotel away from the traffic - this would have been a problem if it was a hot night.

During our family stay, we found the hotel to be in a convenient location close to everything we required. We appreciated having the restaurant below the rooms, and the food was good. Plus, the hotel had a locked gated area for parking our car. We also enjoyed a short walk to the cable car. The room was clean and the service was friendly. Breakfast was plenty with a good selection of foods. Street noise was the only negative aspect we experienced.

Despite the discomfort in the room, the hotel staff was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast selection was diverse, offering a variety of options to enjoy. The location was convenient, allowing for easy access to nearby parking and the town. However, the heat and noise made for an overall unpleasant stay.
The room was uncomfortable due to lack of air conditioning and ventilation, making it unbearable. the train noise could be heard even with the window closed.
