Good location access to and the staff just dont care less.
Also ideal for planespotters thanks to the view over Tromsoe airport.
Takes 15-20 minutes to accesss city central by public bus stopping every 20 minutes at the nearest bus stop and good value.
Ive stopped in many hotels in norway, room is simple.
First of all, it was miles from the town centre and even though the rooms were well furnished and comfortable, the corridors and the reception area could do with an update and looked raher depressing.
Very standard no-frills rooms, those looking west are best with nice views over surrounding mountains and the midnight sun (if in summer).
Was hungry, the bar was open, but nothing to eat except prepackaged sandwiches for sale in the reception - of which there was none left.
Comfortable to stay, friendly staff and good breakfast.
Their staff was friendly and courteous (like all Norwegians) and the breakfast selection was good.
Arrived at around 2200h by car, hard to find the hotel which is located on the opposite side of the city center island, far from restaurants and shopping.
Only one bad staff: quite far from downtown Tromso.
Reception said they tried to get the kitchen to make more sandwiches but they did not have the ingredients (!
Also clean room, the manager cant even pour a glass of chanegpane was really bad.
