The hot spring at this hotel was simply amazing. It was quiet and relaxing, just what I needed after a long day of motorcycle touring. The pools were clean and the water temperature was perfect. Plus, the view of the aquarium from the third level was unique and added a special touch to the experience. the dinner show was entertaining and the food was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff, especially the woman employee, was helpful and provided excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants.
One drawback of this hotel was the lack of attendants at the hot spring. This led to some non-Japanese guests not following the proper etiquette, which was a bit unpleasant.

The hotel had a unique onsen experience with two levels of onsen. The onsen on the third level had pools facing an aquarium, which was a cool under the sea setting. They also had a Jacuzzi pool and an outdoor one. the dinner was fantastic with live entertainment and delicious food. The Japanese buffet breakfast had a wide variety of tasty options.
The hotel seemed outdated and in need of an upgrade. The location was far from the city and there were no convenience stores nearby.

I recently stayed at a budget hotel in Shizuoka and I had a surprisingly good experience. The location was a bit far from the city center, but it allowed for a peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. The room I stayed in was a bit outdated, but it was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the surrounding nature. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast provided was delicious and offered a variety of options. the hotel had a lovely swimming pool and hot spring baths, which were perfect for relaxation.
I did notice a slight smell of cigarette smoke throughout the building, which could be off-putting for some guests.
