The package was remarkable value for money and the hotel was almost faultless.
Short walk to centre, just a few minutes walk to St and i would definitely recommend Hotel Stefanie as a great four-star hotel at an affordable price.
We booked as part of a flight plus hotel package, so I can’t comment on the price of the hotel alone.
If only all hotels gave this price/quality/situation compromise I would be a very happy tourist.

Room was spacious (we asked for one of the newly refurbished rooms) which was big enough for the couch to become a third bed for our son.
The Austrian style double bed was very comfortable, service was very good and also our room was very clean.
The bathroom was good, but with a strange shower position in the bath and the bedroom was very comfortable.

Hotel has nice entrance lobby, small bar and nice dining room which serves a very god breakfast buffet.

In addition hotel has nice entrance lobby and an easy walk into town.
The entrance lobby is also beautiful, and there's a library for guests, with ashtrays thoughtfully placed on each table (smoking while reading - the ultimate luxury for British victims of puritan prohibition!
