The Spendide is a very nice hotel, but it should be for the price.
However, in comparison with other hotels with the logo "leading hotels of the world" in which I have stayed in so far I consider the prices of Splendide a bit on the high side.
Having found our original hotel to be of a very poor standard indeed we drove around Lugano to find somewhere better and decided to just blow the price and stay somewhere luxurious!
