The hotel is conveniently located near the entrance of the park and is also close to the local village. It offers easy access to nearby attractions and is a great choice for those who want to explore the area. The rooms provide comfortable beds and a nice temperature, ensuring a restful stay. Some rooms might require renovation, including the bathrooms, which could be a drawback for some guests.

The location
The staff said that my credit card must be charged for the room rate, which was not mentioned in your website at all.

The staff were very nice and tried to accommodate all of our needs. The location was relatively convenient to the Sorak Park.
The hotel needs serious updating. I stayed there in the 70's when it first opened and it didn't look like the place has been renovated since. The room was rather musty smelling, the toilet leaked and the roomsafe was broken. They also seemed to be conserving energy because only a third of the lobby lights were on the entire time.

This hotel is an excellent choice for those seeking a budget-friendly stay with a stunning view. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with the added bonus of a balcony to enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery. The location is ideal, as it is so close to the mountain that you can easily access the park entrance and nearby attractions. The staff provides basic amenities and the rooms are kept at a comfortable temperature without the need for extra heating or cooling.
All was satisfactory.

Nothing. The staff was totally useless. Since I dont speak Korean I asked them to help us book a return ticket to Seoul. All they had to do was to go online and make a reservation. They refused to do that. Breakfast for 15000 won was a total rip off. Dont even bother trying it. You are better off taking bus number 7 and going to Sokcho for all your meals.
Everything. No value for money. Highly overpriced

The hotel's location is great as it is situated near a popular park. Some rooms offered stunning mountain views that made the stay even more enjoyable. Another advantage was having a convenience store nearby, which was helpful during my stay.
The carpets were stained, and the bathroom was dirty. The staff had communication issues and could not provide recommendations for dinner or other activities.

The hotel was conveniently located to the National Park. The walk to the entrance took approximately 20 minutes. If simply planning to hike, this is a good hotel. However, if you want to see other sites in Sokcho such as the beach, another accommodation might be better suited so that one does not have to take the bus back into the "town".
It would be helpful to have hotel workers who can speak more English. Also, having internet, without having to pay would be wonderful so that visitors can seek answers if the hotel workers cannot speak English. The room was not vacuumed.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, just outside of the park entrance and close to the local village. It was great to be able to easily access the hiking trails and explore the natural beauty of the area. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were well-maintained. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout my stay. Additionally, the breakfast offered a diverse menu, ensuring there was something for everyone's taste. Parking was convenient and transportation options were readily available, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.
Everything was fantastic.

The position: the main entrance of Soeraksan national parc is 15 minutes walk (or 2 minutes by bus) from the hotel.
We asked a non smoking room but the gave us a smelling smoking room. The western choice for breakfast is small and 15000w is too much. They charged the price of the room on the credit card I used to book the room even if I didn't want and even if in our reservation it was written that they didn't have the right to use my card, that was only used for reservation purposes..

This hotel is a hidden gem. the value for money is outstanding - you get so much for what you pay. Secondly, the location is perfect for nature lovers. It is not only close to the Seoraksan National Park, but also to the local village, providing a true cultural experience. Lastly, the rooms with a balcony offer a breathtaking view of the mountain. It's a treat to wake up and see such beauty right outside your window.
All was more than satisfactory.

The staff were friendly. We had a nice view of the mountains.
Beds were not comfortable--very hard. Breakfast had a blend of western/korean...however, western is a stretch. It was definitely the off-season, so the food was sparce. This was definitely just a 3-star hotel.
