New-fashioned, airy rooms, GOOD bed, attentive staff. Excellent and lovely location in Lucerne, adjacent to the bus stop Obergütsch as well as mountains. Also, on the restaurant downstairs.

The location for Lucerne was beautiful, very close to Luzern. Booked a room with a balcony.

The rooms are a nice size, with a nuce view as well as delicious free coffee provided. It has unbeatable location in Kriens district very close to the mountain and the lakes, Obergutch bus stop and Lucerne by car, public transport.

We ate at a good restaurant with good food...

We had modern room with an amazing view. Remote location of this great budget hotel was a bonus.

Overall very enjoyable stay for a business trip. Clean place with spectacular view over the lake. A good choice of excellent options for meal. Amicable, top-class people working here. Walk from a bus station, stunning and incredible location.

Appreciated our stay there, it was very lovely. Pleasant clean hotel and staff was affable and top-class. The breakfast was sumptuous and well presented. Our accommodation was set in a remote location close to the bus station, the funicular and a forest. It also was on top of a beautiful hill.

The hotel was in the remote setting to hiking-to a neighbouring mountain. It was the queen room with a fairly clean bathroom. The food was fine and the staff was amiable and efficient.

Its excellent, remote location was a plus. Very good service, absolutely stunning views on mountains from one side and Luzern and lakes from another from my triple room. The staff were efficient, caring❤

I recently stayed at Hotel Sonnenberg for a few days during my European trip. The location was stunning, with breathtaking views of green meadows, Pilatus, and the Alps all around. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, making my stay even more enjoyable. I particularly loved waking up to the beautiful sunrise over the hills and behind the Alps from my room window. It truly was a delightful experience.

Would recommend this hotel.

the hotel was good, very clean and tidy, and the staff helpful. the view from the hotel was fabulous, you could see probably everything. the only negative part is the connectivity to the hotel. there is a cog wheel train that runs from 10-17:30, and the bus drops you nearly a mile away from the hotel, from there it is a long walk. overall good place to stay if u have your own conveyance.

i kid you not i stay over 150 nite per yar in hotels of booking com this is by far the best lower priced hotel i ever stayed in , great views, great food , attentive frindly staff( mostly out of work young people being trained for the hotel industry) as the hotel is run by a foundation, best value for money i ever had eorth at least 4 *

a little difficult to find due to it being farther up the road than your navi wil ltell you, you have to drive on and on till the end of the road ,they need better signage

The hotel is perched on top of a hill, offering breathtaking views of the city below. Every morning, waking up to such a stunning panorama from the balcony was a surreal experience.

on the top of a moutain, quiet and good place for hiking

It's extremely difficult to reach the hotel with public transportation. the cable car, which is closest to the hotel, runs between 10 and 18 in high season, and all the other ways you need to climb uphill for 45 min. It's exhausting if you have any luggage at all. The staff there are cold and unwilling to help. That's unbelievely bad hotel for non-german-speaking travellers (since it's very complicated for local people to explain how to reach the hotel) and basically all the travellers unless they're good at hiking and used to deal with unfriendly staffs.
