The location was excellent and lovely for Menaggio, just off the restaurant for a coffee and beautiful lake Como. The rooms were tidy and newly decorated, equipped with a work desk, coffee/tea making facilities and television. The atmosphere created was quiet.

Stayed here for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed my choice. Huge and tidy room with the WiFi, beautiful balcony, space to unpack, I had everything needed. The staff were amazingly nice and excellent in case of questions.

The place was quiet and great. Staff was super very friendly and extremely helpful. The vibe here was quiet. Moreover, free Wi-Fi throughout the property was awesome. Location: the hotel was close to the city's most popular cafe, town center and the lake Como. Bar Cafe del Pess located 1 km away was a nice surprise.

The location of the Hotel Sonenga is ideal, with a short walk up from town and parking available on-site. The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lovely rural and peaceful atmosphere. Although the pool was not open during our stay, we still enjoyed the surrounding ambiance. The breakfast offered at the hotel was reasonably good, providing a satisfying start to the day.

Felt at ease, no complaints whatsoever.

Very basic, simple, quiet and clean; we prefered being away from center of town and in a residential area; easy walk to town; good breakfast; loved hearing all Como birds in the early morning; disappointed the pool wasn't full and functioning; easier to stay here if you have a car.

Staff were accommodating, atmosphere was quiet, it had lovely location short walk to the outskirts of the village, the restaurant for a coffee, and the lake Como. The food for breakfast was fabulous, coffee and tea.

Had a wonderful New Year's stay at this hotel! The pool was a fantastic feature, especially during the hot summer weather. The kids absolutely loved it! The room was spacious and the balcony provided a nice place to relax. The breakfast spread was surprisingly plentiful, with the added bonus of having coffee served to our table. The hotel staff was polite and helpful throughout our stay. The peaceful location and nearby public playground made it a safe and enjoyable environment for the kids.

There were a couple of drawbacks to our experience. The shower was a bit difficult to operate, and the beds were a bit hard for our liking.

Very poor reception lacks professional attitude. facilities are very basic eventhough they can improve a lot. The 3 star rating is bit misleading. Reception is closed most of the time. No airconditioning, heating. Breakfast was buffet but someone looking over your shoulder. It has a pool, gym but not so great.

The pool was not in order and we not notified at the booking and the climb to the hotel was difficult from the town without a car. no restaurants etc near hotel at the top of the hill

Likes/Benefits/Best Aspects: Great location, just a short walk from the town center and with beautiful mountain views. The friendly staff made us feel welcome and were accommodating to our requests.- The clean and comfy rooms provided a good base for our weekend stay.- We enjoyed the lovely pool area and were able to relax and take in the surroundings.

Dislikes/Disadvantages/Worst Aspects: Communication regarding the parking fee could have been clearer, as we were surprised by the additional cost.
