On a pleasant canal, great location and the rate I got was very good value for money for a luxury hotel.
If you are considering this hotel, you will not be disappointed, and it is a particularly good value for its price!
I had done a lot of internet research on hotels and prices, and this looked perfect - and it was.
This may sound petty but it is a 5* hotel charging 5* prices and, unless you get a very good deal on the breakfast - go elsewhere, it's not worth 28euros!
The location in great--centrally located and easy to get to everything (although AMS is really not that big compared to London, etc.
Hotel is in a quiet location nicely situated just outside the chaos of the red light district.
I liked the location which was certrally located.
We took a taxi to hotel from Airport, and arrived late evening, and checked in without issue.
They even arranged a fixed rate for our taxi returning to Schipol airport.

The hotel restaurant is very good as is the one in the nearby Hotel Europe, and there are many nearby restaurants in all price (and quality) ranges.
But we loved dinner and breakfast in the hotels restaurant, really upscale!
The restaurant where we had breakfast was lovely, but the staff seemed overwhelmed at breakfast time.
Saunas were a good start to the day and the restaurant we had breakfast was lovely.

It's Cafe Roux restaurant ,buffet breakfast, housekeeping staff, front desk, concierge, bartender,etc.
Make sure to try out the spa on the groundfloor with its swimming pool, turkish bath, sauna and jacuzzi.
There is a pool which children love, (with lots of towels) as well as a dry sauna, steam, and a gym.
The hotel's facility includes swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam bath, which we all enjoyed at the end of each day and a great way to end the day.
Had both wireless and hard wired high speed internet.
Our room was well appointed and very clean, and was not 'tired' as some other reviewers have stated.
Room was a bit outdated but nice, well maintained and very clean.
The rooms are very pleasant ,comfortable and clean with enough of a feeling of luxury to make you feel good about the place.
Room was clean but very dated and a bit "worn", but not too bad.
The pool and locker room were also clean and bright but if you book a massage you must pay in cash.
