Hotel Sofitel Budapest Chain Bridge - 布达佩斯

The hotel is located next to the Chain Bridge and it is a great location - you can walk to most places even though there is a metro station close by which is very handy.

Stayed in this great hotel located right at the Chain Bridge and within walking distance to EVERYTHING, location is important and this location is great!

This location is great and modern hotel is extremely well located.

Staff were very helpful, especially the lady on reception who tried to help us out when we realised we had been ripped off by our taxi driver on arrival from the airport (see my forum post "Zona Taxis - BEWARE - check your change").

As from the prior review don’t use hotel taxis, far more expensive as usual taxis, I’ve used Taxi2000 from the airport at 3.

Our room had a large double bed and sofa bed, both extremely comfortable (down-filled mattress toppers), and luxurious bathroom with separate bath & shower cubicle.

On the seventh floor, Big comfortable bed, average sized bathroom with larger than average bathtub with radio in bathroom, mini bar, pay tv on a 24 hour basis which was expensive but came with internet access(slow).

The suite comprised of a living area with TV, Bedroom with TV, Kitchenette (with fridge and hotplate) and a bathroom with seperate shower cubicle, bath and lovely fluffy bathrobes and slippers!

Room size was decent, very clean, cozy sofitel Mybed (perhaps my partner found it a bit too soft), marble bathroom was a bit small no separate bath tub shower; there were designer toiletries replaced daily and bathrobes.

Above all we loved our room: it was very clean with an LCD TV, both a shower and a bath tub, a sitting area and a desk.

The restaurant/bar is adequate, but nothing to brag about, although they do offer a nice breakfast buffet.

We didn't eat in the restaurant as the conceriege booked us into some great restaurants we would never have found left to our own devices.

We had daily breakfast at the hotel, once at the Terrace restaurant were service was a bit better then the Paris Budapest café, but the view was great, good cold and hot food choice and live eggs cooking.

The bar provided well prepared cocktails & the restaurant provided adequate meals.

Bar all are great, the breakfast buffet is very good.

The concierge and front desk personnel were always helpful and accommodating.

Budapest is a beautiful city, top quality hotel in a very good location and front Desk Staff: Very courteous and helpful.

The sofitel has a nice indoor pool, sauna and fitness room.

The leisure facilites although small were immaculate and we took full advantage of the pool and sauna, a very professional set up.

The voices in the lobby echo throughout the hotel as the glass enclosed elevator zooms up to your floor.

I had a couch, chair and desk with high speed computer access.

The high speed internet is VERY expensive at $33 per day (5900 HUF).

Staff were great and the room was very clean and comfortable.

The room itself was quiet, clean, well serviced.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean.

Room: Very nice clean room, housekeeping service was very good.

The room on the 5th floor was clean, well-appointed & everything functioned - except the alarm.
