great way to end our trip. fairly clean, good value hotel, its location was best possible and magnificent and really close to the mountain and gondola and the matterhorn and the glaciers. helpful staff throughout our stay. good sized room with large bed, central heating and a radio.

The location of Hotel Schwarzsee was absolutely breathtaking with stunning views of the Matterhorn. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious meals that were included during our stay. Additionally, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make us feel at home.

Amazing and fairly clean hotel with astonishing view of the snow-capped mountains. Spectacular location up on the ski hill, not very far from Furgg - Trockener Steg. Based close enough to the mountain and nature as well as Gondola which close as early as 4pm and can be hampered by weather. Really unforgettable stay, as always.

The staff were attentive and very amiable, no complaints whatsoever. The hotel was in a remote location next to the Schwarzsee ski lift. Besides, it was just off the ski hill and the beautiful mountains including the silence and solitude and restaurant.

This hotel was a great value for the price we paid. Not only did we have a comfortable room with a large bed, but the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The location next to the Schwarzsee ski lift was perfect for us as we were able to be the first on the slopes every day. It was also a nice change of pace to be away from the busy center of Zermatt.

All in all, everything was fine.

We stayed in a hotel up on the ski hill with great views. Our room was comfortable and had a balcony, offering a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. The restaurant was busy, but we enjoyed the three-course dinner and substantial breakfast. The location was away from the busy centre, next to a ski lift facility.

The price of water and lift passes was expensive.

We stayed during Thanksgiving and the hotel offered complimentary pumpkin pie and hot apple cider, which was a nice touch. The location is perfect for those who enjoy hiking as the trails start right from the hotel. The view from the room was breathtaking, especially during sunset.

The customer service was not up to par as we had trouble communicating with them prior to our arrival. The noise from the adjacent bathroom was a bit bothersome.

Great for skiing! You can be the first on the slopes each morning and avoid the crowds. Plus, the views are definitely postcard-like.

The basic rooms were not comfortable at all, the bed wasn't great. , the half board wasn't worth it.
