The location of Sagar Plaza is great, hotel is located at perfect place and the lobby is good.
Great location, good restaurants nearby and relatively quiet by Pune standards.
Good location right next to a shopping mall.
The Taj and Le Meridien are nicer, but the location of the Sagar Plaza gives you a lot more to do if you're on foot or relying on 3 wheelers to get around.
MG Road a very short walk, as is the bus station, movie theater and lots of food options.
The one issue I did have during the month I was there was that smokers would occasionally be in surrounding rooms, and the ventilation system spread their smoke smell into my room.
The hotel itself is fairly nice, the bathroom a bit more tatty than the rest of the room, but the hotel staff set my visit into the above average range.
The room itself was fine, fridge didn't work though & the bathroom was a bit tatty.
The rooms were adequate, however the bathroom was dirty and tatty, not what one would expect from a 4* hotel.
Resasonable prices for food and drinks including the mini bar in the room.
1000 Oaks is a good bar/restaurant, and not a far walk either.
I ate in the restaurant (Tangerine) a couple of times - nice food, fairly reasonable rate.
The hotel has an awesome sports bar and food is above average - good buffets.
Good music shop around the corner, good restaurants (The Sizzler, 1000oaks) nearby.
Don't miss the Ram Krishna restaurant just around the corner.
Helpful hotel staff and courteous service.
They got to know me over time, as did the hotel service staff, who all did an excellent job.
Staff good, some problems with room service delivery.
Swimming pool didn't look particularly inviting.

Nowhere to sit outside and relax (apart from around the uninviting swimming pool).
Mixed signal strength for the rather expensive wireless broadband.
Bathrooms are clean too and food is amazing.
The rooms are clean- although the carpet can use upgrade.
