Truffles are served on arrival at Hotel Sacher Salzburg in the city center. As you might guess, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is particularly nice. Rooms on the Salzach River side have a wonderful view. However, some visitors find that although charming, the interior is in need of a renovation and lets this offering down.

Getting there

Every 30 minutes there is a bus shuttle-service from the airport to Schwedenplatz. Change onto the U4 underground train heading towards Hütteldorf and get off at Karlplatz/Oper. Take the exit labelled Oper – Kärntner Straße. Behind the Opera House is the hotel Sacher.

If you are travelling by car always follow the signs to the city centre, indicated in German as "Zentrum" or "Stadtmitte".

Getting around

Salzburg train station is 3km away and W. A. Mozart airport is 6km away from the hotel.
