Well located, a fine hotel in a good location and the staff at the front desk was very kind and helpful.

The train station to climb up to Jungfraujoch, also a good base for day trips to the different attractions like Schilthorn and i really liked the way you have maintained a lovely hotel of the past.
The holel is located near the Interlaken Ost train station, but it seems like a long walk if you are still wearing ski boots.

We had two beds with royal linens and wonderful pillows, 3 balconies, a living room/ parlor, an enormous bathroom with the most heavenly bath tub, a television, a mini-bar and wonderful Victorian decorations.
Only one drawback I can think of- the double bed was actually two twin beds and a bit uncomfortable.
We had a second floor superior corner room with two balconies, spacious bathroom, huge bath and separate shower.
Our room was L-shaped, and it looks like they did a remodeling where they took three rooms and made them into two rooms with en suite facilities.
The tours have their own banquet style room with mosaics painted on the ceiling to enjoy all their meals and the tourists traveling in twos, threes or fours are in the main bar or in the dining area.
The food: Breakfast is spectacular and the dining area is nothing short of lovely.
Offered beautiful old furniture and breakfast was included in the price- just the cold food you have to pay extra for scrambeld eggs etc.
The breakfast is adequate but hot food is at extra cost.
30 pm and the bar and lounge are dead after then.

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by friendly reception staff, who answered any questions as well as carried out the usual formalities.
Best of locations in Interlaken, lovely stay and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
On the top floor, there is a quaint spa with two Jacuzzis, a wonderful steam bath and a sauna with a lovely view.
The spa: Swiss hotels are very interested in making sure your body is well relaxed while you stay in their hotel.
The only time we saw the tour groups was in the lobby.
