Opened in 1908, Royal St. Georges Hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of the city center and main shopping area.

It is one of the few hotels in Switzerland built in Victorian Style, combining elaborate architecture and luxurious interiors. This traditionally designed property offers not only royal ambiance, but sophisticated up-to-day facilities, including a first class wellness center and contemporary meeting halls.

All 93 elegant rooms are individually furnished and equipped with all comforts. Some of them have an access to a huge terrace and all are beautifully decorated in white and light pastels, with large bright bathrooms.

Royal Rooms have been restored and completely maintain their art nouveau style, they are about 24-35sqm and provide a large bathroom, mini-bar, safe and TV. In suites stucco work decorates the bedrooms as well as the living areas, with rooms separated from each other by sliding doors. They are more spacious and feature luxurious bathrooms with freestanding, large bathtub, toilet and bidet. Design fans will enjoy the St Georges Rooms with their electrifying mixture of original Art Nouveau and contemporary style. These accommodations will be pleasant for families, business travelers and sophisticated guests, comprising all necessary fittings. Babysitting is available upon request.

The Veranda Restaurant provides classic French and Swiss cuisine with charming blend of Arabic or Indian delicacies, while Art Nouvelle Bar completely typifies the high culture of the 20’s and 30’s, serving the best choice of drinks and non-alcoholic beverages.

There are three spacious conference rooms that can accommodate up to 200 delegates and provide the latest in technology. Art Nouveau Banquet hall with over 200sqm is available for large celebrations and meetings. Unique ceiling paintings, historical stucco work and huge mirrors all add royal ambiance to this hall.

The hotel is easily reachable by car from Bern or Lucerne in about an hour.

There are hourly connections from Bern to Interlaken Ost (east). From here guests can reach the hotel in approximately 10 minutes by walking towards the city centre. The closest airports are Zürich Kloten in the distance of 175km and Bern-Belp in the distance of 48km. Parking is available.
