By car: Coming from the A4 (E10) follow signs Zaandam and take the S-106 exit into Amsterdam. At the end of the exit, turn right. Continue straight on the roundabout 'Surinameplein'. Pass the bridge and take a left turn to arrive at the 'Overtoom'. At the end of the 'Overtoom', turn right and take the second street on the right, the 'Tesselschadestraat' (follow signs Byzantium Parking). The first street on your left is the Roemer Visscherstraat. You will find Hotel Roemer in the Roemer Visscherstraat 10.

By public transport: Take the train from Schiphol-Airport to Amsterdam Central Station. Then, take tram number 1, 2 or 5 to the 'Leidseplein”. On the Leidseplein you will see two big hotels: the 'Marriott Hotel' and the 'NH Amsterdam Centre Hotel',- in between you'll find the Vondelstraat. In the Vondelstraat, take the first road to the left and then directly the first street to the right. This is the Roemer Visscherstraat. After 30 meters you will find Hotel Roemer on your right.

  Internet was cheap 6 euros for 24 hours and was only charged once in 5 day stay, staff were very attentive and friendly. My room was well appointed and lovely.
