All the guestrooms are non-smoking and feature light decor and modern Italian furnishing, satellite television, climate control, free complimentary internet access, mini-bars, safes, desks, clock radios, direct-dial telephone and bathroom phone. Amenities available on request include wake-up calls. Breakfast buffet is included with your booking. All children under the age of two may stay free of charge when using existing bedding. Babysitting facilities are possible on-site. Pets are allowed on request.

Dining options

Hotel Rex offers three on-site restaurants and a bar. A complimentary breakfast buffet is served each morning in the breakfast room between 7.30am and 10.30am. Breakfast can be served directly in visitor’s room on request. Guests are invited to enjoy the combination of excellent service and delicious masterpieces of Italian and international cuisine at any of the on-site restaurants. They are open for lunch and dinner daily from 11am till 11pm. To quench their thirst the guests are welcome to the American Bar that serves refreshing drinks and relaxing music in a pleasing ambiance.

Located 10 minutes driving to south from the motorway exit of Livorno and 30 minutes from Pisa Airport, the property is easily accessible from the E80 motorway and Highway Fi-Pi-Li. The Livorno Central Train Station is within 8km from the hotel. Pisa Airport is about 30km far. Hotel Rex is 100km from Florence, 165km from Siena and 90km from the Elba Island.

Getting around.

Hotel Rex is 10 minutes driving from the motorway exit of Livorno A11-A12 and 30 minutes from Pisa Airport. Livorno Central Train Station is situated 8km from the hotel and Pisa Airport is within 30km away. An airport shuttle is available to guests on request. If you go to Livorno by car drive south direction to Rome/Grosseto SS1 and after Montenero tunnel follow Antignano/Livorno motorway. Hotel Rex is 7km from Livorno city centre, 30km from Pisa, 90km from the Elba Island, 100km from Florence and 165km from Siena. Free public hotel parking is possible on site.

  Good value for money and the free internet service. Nice restaurant on the terrace, excellent Choice.

  The room wasn't very important after we walked out on the balcony saw the view and reception staff were less than friendly and helpful.

  Fantastic view over the sea and night prior to early ferry next day. Very good value for money and excellent private beach. Staff very kind and helpful, nice modern bathroom, very reasonable prices in bar. Breakfast terrace best.

  View plus good service and ferry is 10 minutes away. Far enough from the center beautiful landscape the hotel', the sea is just in front of your legs and rooms are big and clean.

  The views were amazing and the evening meal upstairs was lovely overlooking the sea. The hotel was great, the service from all was very warm & hospitable and the room was big and clean. Restaurant were also very helpful.

  Near pisa airport, many thanks Hotel Rex and the cleaning staff were very good. We then moved rooms and the air conditioning was barely adequate, the amazing terrace to have breakfast was perfect.

  Great location just outside the large and really lovely hotel. Good service and receptionist very helpful. Room clean and spacious, excellent food and wine.

  Very dated building and poor breakfast, interesting rules about umbrellas and beach chairs.
