Hotel Rector

For tourists travelling by car the location is perfect because is located on a main road and made our stay in Salamanca a better visit.

The location is perfect for viisiting the old town of salamanca and the hotel is located near most of the historic sites.

Excellent location 5 minutes walk to old city and hotel Rector is a beautifully appointed hotel.

As we pulled up in a taxi to the Hotel Rector we were unaware of the luxury that awaited us on the inside.

Salamanca, but upon arrival, you are a bit surprized to find the hotel is along the dusty, busy road ring that surrounds the old town, and even more surprized to discover the hotel is in fact the street level and the underground floor!

Everything about this hotel is first rate: staff, spacious rooms, gorgeous all-marble bathroom, slippers, robes, and AC.

A very comfortable bedroom, clean marbled toilets and both excellent restaurants deserving of their Michelin stars.

The rooms were spacious and well appointed with comfortable twin beds.

We opted for the larger room on the lobby level which was very large, had two easy chairs and a large and spotless bathroom.

The hotel is spotless, the beds comfortable, the bathroom spacious---what more could you ask for?

We didn't eat in the restaurant within the Hotel's gardens as there were weddings going on both nights ( Friday and Saturday) but it looked good value.

The breakfast is excellent -- 12 euros extra.

The hotel is spotless, the lobby area is quite large and interesting wine bar just down he street.

Great restaurants are within walking distance and attentive and helpful staff - speak several languages.

The young lady at the reception was so helpful, she could not do enough for us with information about Salamanca and also helping us with restaurants as my husband is vegetarian, she even phoned to one nearby to see if it was open.

Well worth the money, from elegant linens to comfortable sitting in the lobby and the excellent service from the staff.

Well located to walk around Salamanca, the Hotel Rector is a great choice and the staff are very accommodating.

There is also a charge of 10 Euros plus tax for car parking.

The hotel offered private parking inside the hotel which was reserved exclusively for guests--the utmost in security and ease of access; the garage door was just off the hotel lobby.

The duty person came down to the parking lot and helped us unload our car and put baggage in the elevator.

Staff was extremely helpful, the room was beautifully appointed and pillows were extremely comfortable and clean.

Incredibly helpful staff will attend to all your needs, the bathroom is so clean and lots of beautiful coffee table books for reading.

The staff were very friendly and the rooms spotless.

There are few rooms but all are clean and very luxurious!

The bedroom was spacious, very clean and bright, with pretty moldings, providing an inviting feeling of luxury.
