The location is in a very smart area, the hotel is very well situated and all the staff are attentive.

Beautiful hotel with an incredible view from a hilltop location that is in a convenient location in Santander.

Fantastic sea view location & food and clean beach.

Therefore prefer a hotel there are not likely to be too many children, coffee facilities as well as a 3 foot diameter porthole.

Room was perfect (only negative were the 2 single beds and not 1 large bed, but getting used to that in Europe) with an incredible view of the ocean.

The 'Queen room with sea view' had its own hallway, a large bathroom (with round bath), and a large bedroom with own balcony and breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding Sardinero area.

The room my husband and I shared was about the size of a closet with a double bed jammed in.

Our confirmed reservation was for a "deluxe sea-view room with a queen-sized bed" Nothing deluxe or queen-sized about it.

Furthermore service was very friendly, the bed was super cozy and the restaurant was excellent.

The breakfast buffet was plentiful and served in an airy and pretty restaurant (with outside terrace in the warmer months).

The breakfast room is fabulous in terms of choice and the food could have been better.

We ate at the hotel's upscale restaurant every night.

Breakfast food is very good, nice variety, the waitstaff leaves something to be desired and the coffee sucks!

We went for a drink in the bar when we arrived.

beautiful surroundings the staff, a comfortable hotel for us was essential and all service was quiet.

Super place and old world levels of excellent service from the staff.

Expected a hotel a little past its best and the reception staff very helpful.

We found the service (except for the lovely housekeeping staff who tried to help as much as they could) lackluster, at best.

This was important to our daughter as there is no pool for children.

There is a pool in the Thalosotherapia Building, but guests must be 14 years and older.

After all this we thought we`d head down to the Spa.

    This place is great, all the staff are friendly and courteous, lovely touches like afternnon tea.

    The old fashioned TV-set does not match, the menus in northern Spain have little in the way of fruit.

    A lovely city, easy to Park and the beach at Santander is great. The hotel seems to have changed from catering for the ordinary visitor to a concentration on business seminars, run by efficitent helpful staff and water pressure unestable then you burn or freeze other open a faucet. Breakfast is delicious.

    Enjoyed the beautiful surroundings the staff, a comfortable hotel for us was essential and all service was quiet. The rooms were excellent, we thought the food there was poorly prepared and dinner was delicious. The Spa was nice.

    Fantastic sea view location & food and clean beach. Moreover the hotel were excellent, the staff were very helpful and friendly, did not received kind of room I reserved. The tea was luke warm.

    Our room was overlooking the beautiful Bay of Biscay, the positive - The views of the water were very nice and the staff made our stay a joy - cheerful. Furthermore service was very friendly, the bed was super cozy and the restaurant was excellent.
