For the price we paid, we got excellent value and a fantastic room with stunning views of the river, town, and mountains. The location was convenient, with easy access to town and plenty of parking. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great service throughout our stay.

The breakfast could have been better, with more variety and higher quality options.

It was a lovely hotel to stay in with helpful staff, lovely rooms and a good restaurant, with fabulous views from our window of the castle and the town.

Reception excellent. Bar was closed and we served ourselves from Cafeteria where the two drink measures (wine and a beer) were too small! Evening buffet was of average quality but reasonable value. Room very comfortable and well appointed. Continental Breakfast would have been improved with fresh expressos rather than from a large catering pot. A piece of fruit on the table is normally available? We will return but would like to find improvements in the catering

The hotel offers good value for money , it is comfortable and very clean and is in an ideal location for those wishing to explore the Serra de Gredos region.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel! The location on the Roman bridge crossing the river to the town was absolutely stunning. The hotel is nestled in the mountains, providing breathtaking views of the nearby river and the magnificent Gredos mountains. The staff were friendly and accommodating, always there to assist us with any queries or special requests. We were pleasantly surprised by the room service and the welcome drink upon arrival. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, complete with all the amenities we needed, including heating, air conditioning, a sitting area. We had a peaceful and quiet night's sleep in our soundproofed room, and the bathroom was superb with its large shower and separate huge bath. The cleanliness of the rooms was also top-notch.

We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. The service, room amenities, and the overall quality of the hotel exceeded our expectations.

The bedroom was very spacious and the bathroom was compact but had everything you need.

The Real de Barco is ideally set for visiting El Barco de Ávila.On arrival we found that the receptionist could not speak English but we got by eventually. The rooms are well appointed and if you can get a room to the rear of the hotel there are splendid views of the castle, mountains and the river.The restaurant looks quite good but there is no English translation so unless you speak Spanish you will need a translation book.The town is well within walking distance.

Clean Rooms, Great Views, and Value for Money

The rooms were impeccably clean, offering a stunning view of the surroundings. The hotel's location was convenient, with attractions nearby and an accessible main road. the value for money was worth every penny, with free Wi-Fi and off-street parking.

There were several aspects that spoiled our stay. the bed was uncomfortable and difficult to sleep on.

they have an advertisement about the facilities with spa-wellness and a swimminng-pool, but they dont have them.

Staff were very helpful. Hotel seemed to be a higher standard than the stars it currently has. Extremely tranquil and quiet if it's relaxation and rest you're looking for.Lovely views from the windows, lovely sound from the river also. Can't really think of anything bad about the experience and I would certainly stay there again if returning to El Barco de Avila or closeby.

While I felt that the price was very reasonable, I found out that the price, the very next day after I booked was not only cheaper but inclusive of breakfast! But I suppose I could put that down to bad luck!
