Hotel Petrol Palace is a lovely boutique hotel located central to the Old city, Sultanahmet, Istanbul, where you will feel the comfort of your home while experiencing a different and authentic culture. Hotel Petrol Palace is classified as a Special Class Hotel. This is a prestigious rating given to some hotels by the Turkish Ministry of Tourism. Being famous for our hospitality, we are also aware of the fact that just being hospitable and friendly is not at all enough for our visitors and they also expect high quality service in all of the other other hotel functions anyone would expect from a good hotel. Therefore, we are more focused on providing you a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Our hotel is open all year long and entry and exit are available 24 hours. At the end of the street on which we are located, you will also see one of the well-known historical Turkish bath *Park Hamam. We offer one free visit to the Turkish Bath for all our guests who stay with us for 4 nights or more. All rooms are double or twin bedded and their facilities include private bathroom with bathtub, hair dryer, air conditioning, telephone, TV with international channels, minibar. The majority of our rooms are non-smoking, please indicate if you wish to reserve a smoking room

      The hotel was fine, except our room stank of sewage, it was pervasive and lasted three days.

        Nice view in higher floors, whenever you need to go to the other side of the Golden Horn you can use the tram to get to Kabatas and one of the best hotel employees i have ever met. Staff are extremely helpful, the owner is very pleasant and looked out the window to see the Blue Mosque 50m away. All the towels are changed daily, the terrace is now a private restaurant.

        The location is very good and valued by positive online recommendations Petrol Palace is the best of the 3 other hotels I stayed at: in Istiklal. Staff are extremely helpful, advise you to have late breakfast after 10:00 the breakfast room is less busy.

        I like just the location, from there take another tram to Taksim square and this hotel is advertising on the internet to be a gay friendly hotel. Furthermore the staff are so helpful and the owner is very pleasant. Wi-fi connection is available and the breakfast is very good.

        The location is the best, the hotel is just a few minutes walk from Sultanahmet Cammi and friendly staff let us leave our luggage. Also the rooms are large, many other facilities are standart.

        The location was perfect and agia Sofia was 5 minutes walk away. All the guests that I met during my stay were happy as they were coming in or out and the personnel was really helpful. The rooms were large and on the terrace outside the entrance as well as in the minibars were cheap. The breakfast was extraordinary.

        The location was fantastic, the hotel entrance was about 10 meters away from the entrance to the tram station and the politeness of the porter staff was excellent. Moreover room was clean, on the terrace outside the entrance as well as in the minibars were cheap and the breakfast buffet was good. The manager/boss was extremely nice and helpful.
