Bottom line to the place -- an eclectic (in a good way), personal hotel with what you need for a great price, in an area with cookie-cutter hotels and tourist prices.
This hotel is the best that we have stayed at in terms of style and value for money.
You get real value for your dollar, we took a look at the other hotels in the area and were definitely not as nice for what you pay.
If you're looking for a hotel close to Disney without paying the Disney prices, this is the hotel for you.
It is in a great location, really close to disney and only minutes away from knotts berry farm.
The location is very close to Disneyland and Knotts, and close to the freeway.
I loved the location because you are close enough, but not too close to the major attractrions.
Some shuttle buses do not operate out of John Wayne airport and a taxi can be on the pricey side.
A international airport instead of John Wayne airport as it is easier to get a shuttle bus to and from the airport to your hotel.
Our "executive suite" consisted of two rooms; one had a bedroom with a king size bed, sitting area, private enclosed patio, TV and bathroom.

For $129 per night, our family of four landed a two-bedroom, two-bath suite with comfy beds and a kitchen (okay, no dishwasher, but we really didn't care), 10 minutes from Disneyland.
Actually, the suite is made up of two adjoining hotel rooms, each with their own bathroom, kitchen, tv, etc.
There were 2 separate full bathrooms and the 2 rooms were basically full bedrooms with separate patios, TV's and lounging area indoors.
The restaurant was fantastic for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
It's nice because you can actually go sit down in the restaurant to eat it as opposed to most complimentary breakfasts being held in a lobby area.
The hotel has a very nice Mexican / American Restaurant attached, where a FREE continental breakfast is served, and other meals are plentiful, low cost, and very delicious.
The restaurant provides great food, from breakfast to dinner - try their nachos!
The continental breakfast was served in a dining room at the restaurant in front of the hotel and the staff was very friendly.
There are no services at all (other than the maid service which was excellent).
The staff, from the the onsite Manager, Rick , to the front desk staff and the hard working maintenance/construction/pool guys, all did an excellent job during our stay.
We didn't get a chance to use the pool, spa or fitness center because we were too busy being tourists, but the computer access was nice.
There is no shuttle to Disneyland, so you have to figure on the parking fees at Disneyland into the overall equation.
Towels were plentiful; a bathrobe would have made my trek to the lovely pool (capacity 25, no hot tub) a tad more discreet as I slipped through the lobby to go for a dip.
The refridgerator was clean, full size,there was a coffee pot, with coffee provided, toaster, microwave, TV, and the wireless internet was working.
The hotel provides free wireless internet, a plus.
The staff were friendly and attentive, the rooms clean and everything in working order.
I found the staff to be very helpful, rooms very clean and the whole stay was extremely easy.
Our room was always clean and extremely confortable.
The room itself was very spacious, clean, and the appliances were all new.
The room was clean and comfortable - not fancy, but comfy at the end of of a long "Disney" day.
