The location of the hotel was perfect for getting to the places we wanted to visit in the Harz.We were made to feel welcome on arrival,room was adequate for one night.If I was to visit the Harz again I think I would shop around for a hotel,bed and breakfast.

The owner met us at the door and was very friendly, spoke brilliant English to make up for my poor German. The bathroom looked brand new, can't fault it. I didn't book an evening meal, breakfast was vast, and my children made good use of several types of breakfast!
The furnishings in the bedrooms were very comfortable, though the chairs looked a little tired.
