Hotel Olimpia Florence - 佛罗伦萨

The location is perfect - right in the middle of central Florence and close to the train station.

Hotel Olimpia was a great great location.

Again, what you're paying for here is the location.

The airport is only a 25 minute cab ride away (about twenty Euros) and the staff will call a taxi for you at any time.

We walked here from the train station on arrival, and it was only a $20 euro taxi ride to the airport.

The room was typically European: not overly fancy, but clean and comfortable, AC pumped cool air, and the bed was pushed together twin beds--which didn't seem to effect our sleep at all.

The bathroom has a shower in the middle of the small room, as is the case in many older Italian bathrooms, but there is a curtain and we did not find this to be a problem.

We had a room with a large (perhaps king size) bed and a lovely view of the piazza.

Rooms: we had a very nice room on the 4th floor, with a small balcony, a small bathroom, and functional aircondition.

The room was very big and had a king-size bed.

The breakfast area looks over the Piazza Della Republica and we watched the early morning sunlight bath the surrounding buildings and the top of the duomo while we ate breakfast.

The breakfast was continental style and set you up nicely till lunch time.

Breakfast buffet was good (typical European continental) and there was plenty to eat.

The hotel is located on the Piazza della Repubblica, which has several outdoor restaurants, as well as a lively street performance scene and is within blocks of the Duomo and the Uffizi.

The hotel serves a good breakfast with fruits, breads, yogurt and cereal.

The service was awesome - the staff really took care of us.

You're staying here for the amazing location, the room was spacious for a change unlike other hotels of Europe and the service was awesome - the staff really took care of us.

There's a rickety lift up to the hotel, but the hotel is great.

We didn't really mind the shower or elevator as we had expected them from reading other reviews and many times we just took the stairs as the hotel was only on the 3rd floor.

When we reached there on a hot summer afternoon, the elevators were not working.

While the room was clean, it smelled slightly musty and very strongly of tobacco smoke.

Furthermore the rooms are clean and breakfast is very nice.

It didn't bother us at all that the toilet was in the shower and everything was very clean.

The room is clean and fair breakfast for a more than reasonable price.

The staff was friendly, the room itself was clean and breakfast buffet was good.
