  The hotel appears to be more of a business hotel than a tourist hotel, but don't be put off if you can get a good price.

  I too was confused by my final bill, but once I had gone though it with a calculator and the currect Euro exchange rate at reception, I found it to be correct. The hotel has two bars one on the ground floor next to reception, the second on the top floor was closed during our stay.

  Hotel was very clean with quiet, spacious rooms. Very polite and attentive staff who speak English. The breakfast buffet was excellent and replenished often. It is convienently next to a metro station.

  The location is great, right next to 2 metro stops which is the best way to get about the city. On arrival at Domodedovo airport we were quoted by most taxi drivers about 2000-2500 rubles to the hotel (about? 45), instead we took the express train (which is about 2 minutes walk to the left as you exit the airport) into the centre, it costs about? 3 and takes 45 mins, then onto the Metro for about 2-3 stops to Novoslobodskaya (green line). The Metro is fantastic, spotlessly clean with trains every few minutes, also worth using just to see some of the lovely ornate stations.

  We picked this hotel because the price was reasonable for its location in Moscow. It was right next to two Metro stations making transportation easy and the hotel was still close enough to walk to the Kremlin (about 30 minute walk). The breakfast was included and had everything you would need to fill up for the entire day. Our room was spacious (even for a full size cot for our daughter) and very clean and up to date. We were on a non-smoking floor and there was no smoke smell anywhere on the floor. The hotel was very helpful taking care of getting us our visa paperwork for us and getting a taxi to and from the airport. The were helpful with anything we needed - great customer service!

  Very close to the Metro with one (grey) line having a stop mere feet from the front door and the ring (brown) line a short walk down the street. Quite a few places to eat within walking distance that have English menus and there is a mall right down the street by the other Metro stop. Breakfast is included in the price of the room and is very big. There is a wide range of food that is offered at breakfast and a lot. The hotel also offers options on the price of its rooms. The fitness room is not very big, couple of cardio machines and a couple of universal machines. Not much in the area as far as tourist but those are easily accessible via the Metro. The staff on hand is very helpful and can speak English fluently. They also have a rental car company and a money exchanger in the hotel along with a person who will help coordinate travel/tourist trips.

  If you are sure you are not going to cancel or change your reservation, you can get a lower price.

  We've stayed in other Novotel's in Germany and recieved the same standard of service, cleanliness and centrality as we had expected. We booked directly through the Accor Hotel site and then followed up with the hotel to insure we had a non smoking room - the floor we were assigned was non-smoking. The hotel is right next to the Metro entrance and coming home late at night was not problematic. Most sights (Red Square, Kremlin) were a Metro ride but not far. The Metros are safe and the hotel has desk staff and security staff posted all night. The only complaint we had was with the heat - we were too warm in our room and controls did not cool it down much especially in the mornings. Our rate was about $300 for the last week in March for a double room which we thought reasonable for its central, in city location. Desk staff was helpful and spoke English well - helpful with baggage storage for the day we were departing, tour advice and reasonable taxi services.

  The room was 152 GBP per night and included breakfast. The Novotel was well located, just a minute away from the metro station which is very handy. The Metro is very easy and efficient to use. We booked a room with breakfast included. The Breakfast is great, lots of choices of pastries, warm dishes, fruits, breads etc.

  If you need a taxi, dont use the hotel service but asked them to call a normal taxi which is much cheaper (3 times cheaper in many circumstances).

  My Collegues recommended this hotel due to its location so I decided to give it a try. They put a bottle of free water in the room every day whch is an excellent touch. Breakfast had a good selection and was fresh. The Metro station is basically in the same building so its easy to commute.

  Its the typical french chain hotel but the rooms where abit basic.

  They still need to work on a porter to get your luggage when you arrive in the car but at least now they will get your luggage delivered to your room very efficiently (after you get it into the lobby). The rooms are kept very clean and the hotel is being maintained perfectly. The front desk is more professional and they are losing their stark Russian customer service style. The service at the transportation desk is excellent, although their prices are a bit higher than they should be (there is always the metro stop down the street though). Overall, I would say this is becoming one of the best hotels for the money in Moscow. They do need to include VAT in the room rates though so as not to inconvenience guests who don't read the fine print. We traveled with a one-year old and the hotel was very accomodating in every way (free crib, plenty of towels, proper high chair at breakfast, non-smoking room away from the crowded floors). The employees at the hotel are really great and they should be recognized.

  The hotel is centrally located near a Metro station. The service is fine and I had no complaint during my stay. The rooms are clean, spacy and the beds are extremly comfortable. We had a meeting with customers and also used the meeting rooms.
