We had an amazing experience staying in this hotel. The hotel's location in the forest is simply magical. We enjoyed riding bikes around the lake and through the woods. The staff were warm, helpful, and many of them spoke English well. The breakfast spread was plentiful and there were many options to choose from.

Everything was as expected, romantic hotel room, great location by the lake, friendly service. Food in the restaurant and breakfast were very tasty.

Unfortunately, we learned from employees that the contract with the hotel operators had not been extended and that the hotel will be closed at the end of October. Even the restaurant will no longer exist. A museum is to be built. Who else needs a museum? That's extremely unfortunate! Make sure you undo it!

We arrived very late at night and the staff waited for us to arrive, the setting by the lake was ideal and the staff were friendly and professional. We loved this hotel and will be returning again.

Beautiful location and peaceful atmosphere surrounded by a forest and a lake. Authentic antique furnishings in the rooms add to the unique experience. Breakfast buffet had a good variety of items to choose from.

Limited and grubby furnishings in some areas were a drawback, especially given the high prices. The restaurant was hit or miss on service and wine availability, leaving guests with fewer options for drinks.

I had the most wonderful experience staying at a stunning old hunting palace located right next to a peaceful lake. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the freshly renovated ensuite was a welcome addition. The location provided some excellent walks in the forest, and I was lucky enough to see some beautiful wild deer wandering around. The breakfast was plentiful, and the chef even prepared some requests just for us. I also made use of the sauna and whirlpool room, which made my stay even more relaxing.

- Beautiful historical building, very nice setting in the middle of a forest, close to main roads (so, easy to include in your tour), excellent restaurant and very nice city + interesting castel nearby (Pszczyna/Pless) and if you are a fan of Daisy von Pless or history before ww1 , this place is a must. This hotel justifies a detour.

Catering was excellent; staff excellent; many understood English. Quaint initially. Well kept generally. (Seemed popular for local events.) Good distance for visiting Auswitz/Birkenau. Turn off from local dual carriageway well signed. Parking good ie right outside entrance. Fridge available in premium double room. Small bar with tv room was good. There was a sauna in the basement.

Ok it was a former hunting lodge but after a while the trophies displayed were rather overwhelming. Dinner service was slow although food was good when it arrived. Bed in premium room we had really needs replacing; curtains once drawn could not be pulled back. Needed an hour notice for the sauna.

The hotel's location was great, in the middle of nature, with beautiful surroundings. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay more enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and well-prepared, with a variety of options to choose from.

The rooms were not well-maintained, with outdated furniture and amenities. The cleanliness could have been better, as we noticed some dust and cobwebs around the room.

There are other places with similar decor, but this one felt very authentic. Staff was very helpful, and overall stay was very nice. This is a very unique place,stained glass windows are of museum caliber. The resteurant main dining room is like no other, no wonder this place hosted presidents of several countries.
