Since we booked this hotel on a weekend deal (since it is a business hotel it offers rooms in the weekend at a much cheaper rate) we did not pay too much, but we still feel that we did not get value for money.
Overall we loved our stay in this hotel and would strongly recommend it to those wanting a city break with good value.
We did not eat at the hotel as the prices were expensive.
We, as weekend guest were given a bit the feeling by the staff that we might praise ourselves lucky that we could stay in that classy hotel for such a cheap price.

Nikko hotel is conveniently based 10 minutes walk from the delightful shopping district and old town dusseldorf and 5 minutes away from the train station and airport shuttle buses.
Fast check-in and check-out, quiet rooms, comfortable bed, good quality toiletries and great desk to work at.
We were told repeatedly it had not arrived and then when we arrived in our room, it was lying on the bed.
Only down sides are the small toilets/bathrooms in each standard room.
Rooms are very modern decorated, and bathroom is a little bit.

I wouldn't advise eating in the restaurant as it is a rip off.
